Leg day 4/25
I’m getting back into the gym finally! I already did and upper body day last week but then a bunch of stuff got in the way of going but but I went today. I made a mistake though. I was also supposed to run today but I did legs first and my legs just weren’t going to run well or safely after that 😂 oh well there’s always tomorrow to run but at least I’m back in the gym.
I also am starting to get energy back so my supplements seem to be working. Still working on sleeping better but overall I’m experiencing an improvement and paying more attention to my vitamin and nutrient intake.

So we’re redoing the floors in my house. We thought there was only subfloor underneath the carpet so I was going to put down laminate temporarily until I could afford real hardwood. However in a stroke of pure luck it turns out there’s already hardwood oak floors in the house! And they’re in beautiful condition! I’m so excited!! Some answers it seems
So I finally got the results of my blood work back from the doctor today and all I can say is of course this is the result. 
So for those that don’t know I’ve been dealing with extreme and unusual fatigue for quite some time now along with just a general feeling of feeling like garbage for the longest time. Not like any normal human being should. I lost all energy to go to the gym and even do my job which is being a custodian. My job is not difficult at all so to need to lie down after even 10 minutes of mild activity is a major problem. 
So the good news, I’m not deathly ill or anything. Not insulin resistant and my thyroid is doing its best. 
The problem: I’m basically the most stressed out cucumber and it’s taking its toll. What that actually means is that my body is producing a very high amount of a hormone called DHEA which controls cortisol production. Normal is between 80-273. Doctors want you roughly at 200 to be solidly normal. Mine is at 308. WAY TOO HIGH. So what that does is 1. makes my testosterone level almost too high..just barely, 2. causes abnormal cortisol patterns. Your cortisol level should be highest during the day and drop off at night so that you have energy at the correct times (ie. the morning/daytime). My cortisol in the am should be between 6.7-22.6 in the AM however at 9AM it tested at 3. That’s really really low. My ferritin (form of iron) level is also testing on the low side along with my vitamin b12 and vitamin D levels. So what does that all mean put together? I’m burning out my adrenal glands repeatedly during the day which causes the extreme fatigue. Stress and my inability to actually deal with it properly is the reason this is probably all happening.
So to deal with all of this I have take 10,000 IU Vitamin D for 2 months and then reduce to 5,000 IU. Up my vitamin b12 intake, take some stress pm supplement that’ll help reduce my night time cortisol level so that I can actually sleep, also take Pregnenolone which will also help cortisol levels at night, up my iron intake, and try not to be a stressed out bitch all the time. However my blood work was beautiful so good job heart and blood vessels.

Looks what my asshole cat did to me this morning, all because she demands to look at birds in the window above my bed.
I’m still pretty sick and I think it’s now travelled into my chest for a nice case of bronchitis, which whatever as long as the sinus headache goes away then fine. I’ll get some mucinex and deal with it that way.
I’m also putting the low carb thing on pause until I’m better because I feel better right now eating carbs. Then once I’m better I’ll go back to the low carb thing. I weighed in this morning out of curiosity and I didn’t like what I saw so I’m hoping it’s just water retention and illness. We’ll check again next week.

Some updates
Hey everyone. It’s been a long time. I’m still alive.
Currently I’m sick with either a cold or strep throat, haven’t figured out which one yet but I at least don’t feel like I’ve been punched directly in the face anymore.
Some health updates. I finally broke down and got a full blood panel done to check my hormones and what not. I’ve still been battling the unusual fatigue and it’s out my weight loss on the back burner. My doctor suspects I might be low in progesterone and testosterone and possibly insulin resistant. She also suspects that I have a high level of candida in my system and has put me on a 6 week course of fluconozol. I’m hoping this will help with my skin issues which are still pretty bad. She also wants me to be on a candida cleanse diet (basically low carb) so I’m trying it out but I’m not doing keto. That kind of rigidity won’t work for me. I was in the ER at the beginning of the year with extreme stomach pains and high blood sugar so it’s very possible that insulin resistance and high levels of yeast have played a part. We’ll see how it goes.
I’m still attempting to lose at least 20 more pounds to put me solidly into a healthy BMI. I’m currently 142.2lbs and 5’2”. I’m a pretty short lady so I can safely lose that much, plus I just want to feel like a human again and get back into the gym.
I’m going to try to be more active here again but we’ll see how it goes for now. Thanks for sticking around if you’re still here!

Upper body day plus 25 minutes on the treadmill. I’m slowly working my way back into a set schedule but I’m also still dealing with a lot of fatigue. I eventually need to get a hormone panel done to see if there’s anything out of wack.
Yesterday I basically slept all day since I hadn’t really slept well for the three days prior. I had two Christmas parties that I went to and I didn’t get to sleep until 2AM each night so that’s been rough. Today I felt much better.
This week is just work and hopefully more gym time.

I’m not feeling the greatest today. For whatever reason my period this month is kicking my ass and making me hideously nauseous so I stayed home from work but I did manage to get an at home weight session done.
Just a quick full body workout:

Getting the diet back on track because I want to kick these last 20lbs before I do a proper bulk! Luckily I’ve just been maintaining weight at roughly 140-138lbs even with eating like garbage but I really want to kick it in high gear so today we’re starting off with a serving of Kodiak waffles made with milk with syrup and butter for a rough total of 569 calories and of course coffee w/peppermint mocha creamer.
I’ve also had to sacrifice going to the gym for awhile because I’ve got a dog who needs walked everyday and it gets way too dark by the time I’m done with work so I have a bike trainer set up in my living room and some weights and will be doing at home stuff.
The Christmas party for work last night was fun! My boss got super drunk and it was prettt hilarious. I’m curious to see how he’s feeling.
Anyway let’s kick off December!
