When you finally clue in to the reason you have this weird pocket of energy today and can't sleep. Why, well you're having a manic episode of course. Oh the joys of being bipolar.

I also realized earlier today that the reason my hands are clammy so often is because I'm having anxiety attacks. Just another perk of bipolar disorder.

For some reason I needed to write this down for me to fully acknowledge that being bipolar affects me more than I'd like to admit, especially to others. My older brother and I were talking today about how the way our mom raised us we were never encouraged to share our feelings or talk about things that are bothering us. It's no wonder that no one in my family find talking about ourselves natural or easy, and find it difficult to share our feelings or thoughts. Yay for finally realizing one of the reasons you're so messed up.
