Since today is my mom’s birthday, and since she loves it when I write, I’m posting on my blog for the first time in.......years! I decided in honor of my mom finding me funny, I’d post something that I find hilarious. I just got an email with this Living Social deal in it. Are these people for real?! Full Body Cryotherapy?! So weird. Possibly Walt Disney inspired. Don’t think I’ll be buying this one.

Is it amazing that somehow Gronk kept me interested in this interview for the entire like 15mins when 85% of what he talked about in this conversation was a party bus? Watch for yourself - it's pretty good. Also there's a solid chance he smelled like a bottle of tequila or something during this thing as I don't believe he showered prior....doesn't look like it....and he may still be a little drunk hahaha. Love it.

Deal of the Day! 1913 Prices at Grand Central Station!

You know how your grandparents are always talking about how cheap things were "back in their day".......well you can experience some of that for yourself today if you're anywhere near Grand Central Station! A handful of vendors there are rolling their prices wayyyyyyyy back to 1913 prices in celebration of the landmark terminal's Centennial Celebration.

So go over and enjoy some 10 cent gelato or a 19 cent slice of cheesecake. Then you can tell your grandparents - I totally get it.....ya lucky bastards.

Is that me in that ad?

Have you ever looked at an ad and thought to yourself, "I wish that was me all giant and surrounded by lights in the middle of Times Square". Well this isn't that.......but it's close! A photographer and retoucher teamed up to take photos of unsuspecting people waiting at a bus stop. They then retouched the image live and posted the ad with the person waiting for the bus in the digital board in the bus shelter. The reactions are great!

Can you imagine if you were just waiting for the bus and all of a sudden saw yourself in the ad next to you?! Fantastic example of true creativity.

This Father's Day...Say "I love you" with Bacon.

I mean Oscar Mayer hit it on the nose with this one. I wish I could be told "I love you" with bacon every day. I mean is there really any greater way? Forget that new set of golf clubs, the cool new smartphone, or even that Amazon Kindle you were thinking of getting your dad. You crisp him up some bacon.............and you've clearly said enough. 

Yet another fine example of why I work in advertising - because it's just damn hilarious sometimes.

Macklemore. Jammin' on a tiny desk at the NPR office. AMAZING.

I've been raving about this for weeks and am just now getting to posting it, but DAMN this is boss. NPR has artists come through and do mini-concerts within the confines of a tiny cubicle in their offices. I wish my office would do something like this - I would legitimately NEVER get any work done. Watch Macklemore do his thing and tear the walls off of this tiny deck concert.

An ad that charges your phone...via solar energy. YES PLEASE!

I cannot imagine who thought of this idea for the Nivea brand but it's pure genius. This is an advertisement that when put in the sunlight, has the capability to charge your phone. And we all know how annoying it is to leave the beach when you're getting your bronze on (while checking out multiple hot men/women) to charge your phone because it's dying.

Of course the best place to launch something like this - Brazil. I hope to hell this comes to the Jersey shore somehow, because THIS GIRL could use an ad that's got phone charging capabilities.
