Hi, first I want to say I absolutely love all of your artwork and I think they're insanely beautiful. In my opinion, your paintings, especially your Alan Wake fanart, are some of the best out there. Sorry, I went on a little long there. My question now is, would it be ok if I use your black and white Mr. Scratch painting as a profile picture for social media? I swear I'm not flattering you just so you say yes, I just genuinely think your art is that good, and it's perfectly fine if you say no and don't want me to use it.

Where am I? Who am I? Alan Wake? Alan Wake? That's a strange name. A. Wake. That sounds like a character's name. Did I write the name up, did I make that name up? I don't want to be a character. I don't want to be in this story. Just write me out of this story

I’ll be honest while watching it I was thinking “Hey this doesn’t seem as bad as the reviews are saying” - I thought the musical scenes were really fun (I feel like I’m in the minority on that but they were a nice break from the depressive-ness of everything else), the visuals, soundtrack, and performances were stunning (as expected) - it’s just that the plot/writing itself was… dull is the only word coming to mind rn 😭

Like, I feel there was so much potential with an Arthur/Harley story (the first 45 minutes or so gives a wonderful glimpse of that; the Arkham fire scene was one of my favorites in the movie). But as the movie shifted into the courtroom aspect, it just kinda became stagnant story-wise. And I won’t even mention the ending cause I’d rather my brain just blocks that out, lmao. I’ll still rewatch it to digest it a bit better and because it was fun to see Joaquin singing/dancing (and it’s worth watching for the cinematography alone) but yeah we desperately need some fics to rewrite this story 😶
