So we had a scene to shoot this morning with me hanging off a mast of a ship.

It has been daily wide grip pull ups for 4 months and climbing gymnastics work to get here. At 52 heading for 53 … you kind of have to.

I am 52. And am not a trainer or selling some fitness or life thing. Just a normal guy.

Lose the mental hang ups and excuses.

Use the lessons and the power of new chapter stuff to get back to control. And enjoy the feel of life. Physically we all can be more in control than we are..& enjoy that more than the lazy stuff.

I try to get one or three 1/2-2 mile walks in a day on top of whatever other training I am doing. When people say they don’t have time I always think don’t you have a problem even in your work you need your mind to sort out… walk somewhere to do it.

It’s what gave me those Hobbit feet at 52.

Had three meetings this week with prominent media producers. All said almost the exact same thing as Coop.

Dear platforms... ethics matter. They aren’t words... they are ‘do no harm’ first. Not contorting to scale first and then make excuses why you then can’t later do the right thing.

In the last 20 years people questioned why I was so insistent on keeping a strangle hold on the economic model of whatever we would do.

Capitalism is a pretty plant that can give you abundance ...but if you plant/ catch the right conditions it can invade and destroy. VC’s in tech are as much at fault for the damage we are seeing to America as the founders. But there is a reason that I took the hard road ... because similar to Coop... I achieved success early and saw the threats sooner than most get to see (albeit I did it on my own without legacy just my great partners... a couple who have now stuck with me through the harder road of doing it right. Even in the face of the mocking and the anger that people wanted me to take the low hanging fruit.)

What we are doing with Hyv is noble in ways nobody understands. What looked like me being a martyr about control... was just me knowing how wrong integrated retail In cubic, pervasive, ubiquitous media as a model could go in the hands of studios and platforms if we do not set precedents that are a better way.

The last 15 years for Tech are learning that their ingenuousness was shortsighted.

Hyv will not be.
