Look, I've been into Formula 3 this season, and I'll admit it, that's only because of Rafael Câmara and bc he is friends with one of my cousins (shock). And right now he's the championship leader, he's leading by 28 points from Nikola Tsolov and he took pole position today, while his championship rival, Nikola is P21 because he has some issues with his car.

Look I'm very happy that Rafa got pole, obviously, now I can't say that I'm happy that Nikola is so low bc it would be mean, and honestly? I prefer a battle on the front then whatever this is ahah

and like usual, The Formula 3 account (on ig) make posts, etc, yk, I'm happy, I'm congratulating and stuff... And then i just come across some brazilians that instead of just being fucking happy and congratulating they're saying stuff like "Where are the bulgarians now?" (Nikola is bulgarian), tagging him in hateful and mean comments, under posts that are literally about Rafa's pole. And these people are either 40+ year old men or 13 year old boys... I swear, these people can NEVER celebrate without being disrespectful and mean towards the opponent...

Keep in mind Nikola is only 18 years old (he joined F3 when he was 16), younger than the majority of the people hating on him... Now i haven't watched the past 2 seasons of F3 but from what i managed to learn, he had a very bad car, he was even planning to quit at some point, and now he is finally in a good team, in a competitive car and he's getting hated by a whole lot of Brazilians. It's kinda like Jack and the Argentine fans, of course it's not AS bad because this is just F3 not F1 and the situation is very different... My point is that these kind of comments can have a huge effect, mentally, especially when he's so young and he's at the start of his career... Hate is not a rare thing in Formula, but that doesn't mean we should normalize it, especially when it comes to youngsters. Let's not forget that these are real people.

And on top of that, Nikola's idol and favorite driver is none other than AYRTON SENNA.
