I'll be honest that's not my experience with Bigb designs, except for the fade thing but that's mostly because I despise fades. Like thank you genuinely, I just think there's a lot of other bigb artists who are also way bigger fans of him that deserve the praise more than me.

Like... I think the biggest reason I was never able to pick a hairstyle for him is because I just don't know enough about him and his character. With someone like Jimmy I can think "ok he should be cute and youthful but well-groomed, his skin clearly shows he has some sort of swoop, and he's bird themed, likes cows/ranching, and is a bit clumsy/silly so he should have feathery hair and a cowlick/ahoge." and with people like Martyn who I don't know as well I can still go "well he's an anime fan and he's got this very clearly naruto inspired look and a vtuber to go off of so I'll give him the weeb special." For Bigb though I just don't know enough about him overall to not go with something that fits primarily in the specific context I'm drawing him at that moment or whatever just fits the silhouette best. To me Bigb and his fans deserve better than that, so I don't really think of my design as particularly great. (Although I get that not everyone thinks that deeply about their designs, but I think most people do that sorta thing subconsciously even slightly.)

Feel like it's not wholly representative because my very "first" fanart was a quick concept scribble that I immediately changed and refined in the very next thing I drew of them, and also the new one is intentionally similar to my older art, but I've also mostly just been doodling lately so it's the only "proper" fanart I've drawn recently and it's quite literally a redraw of my first, so...

How did you find your art style? I love it so much <3

Learning how to draw well enough to analyze art, and then just doing the things I love. I love pokemon, gatchaman crowds, digimon, story of seasons, and several other art styles over the years which i disected and picked out why I liked them and did that. For mcyt I went in intentionally creating an art style that would be easy to animate and wholesome and cute and refined it over time by just drawing it a ton. It's very heavily based on pokemon and kim possible for inspo. Mostly I just think about what I wanna draw and what feels good to draw.

Yeah I don't think I've actually mentioned it here yet. They're spending so much time in the city in relative safety surrounded by piles and piles of clothing and accessories, I decided Jimmy would try all the "interesting" clothes he couldn't justify spending money or backpack space on before while he can.

It's a bit harder for Tango since his selection's a lot smaller but I think he does so when he can also.

(it's def not an excuse to draw whatever fun outfit I'm feeling in the moment...)
