HP WLW BB Going On Hiatus for 2023

Hello all! Thank you so much for your support of the fest over the past four years. We love running this fest, but it takes a lot of time and energy, and both your mods are at busy moments in their non-fandom lives. Unfortunately, we don't have the time to devote to the fest this year, so we've made the difficult decision to go on hiatus for 2023. In the meantime, we encourage everyone to continue writing awesome WLW fic and making beautiful WLW art!

Well comrades, we’ve got another year on the books! we literally could not have done it with out the 7 authors and 6 artists who brought us:

Summary: Eight years after Voldemort’s defeat, as the illegal potions trade ravages England and the government intensifies lycanthropic restrictions in response, Fleur and Tonks join forces to uncover corruption in the Ministry.

As they discover a scandal deeper than they could imagine, Fleur contends with her complex legal status, Tonks contends with her mother, and they do their best to avoid contending with their feelings for each other.

Summary: After an extremely ill-timed lovers'-tiff-turned-food-fight at the Ministry leaves her less one boyfriend and suspended without pay for six months, Hermione pleads for some position–anything–to fill her days until her suspension is up. The good news is, her temporary position in the Magical Games & Sports's Ludicrous Patents office is just down the corridor from Harry's office in General Inquiries. The bad news is Harry's officemate is Pansy Parkinson, the Ministry's operations are shockingly outdated, and every altercation between Hermione and Pansy winds up a headline in MoM's internal rogue gossip zine, Hot Goss. Pansy, who's already chagrined about having been glass-ceilinged in the same position for six years, is no happier with this turn of events. Unbeknownst to each other, Pansy and Hermione each take to The Daily Prophet's Opinions column to air their grievances. When their Op-Eds morph into (increasingly flirty) private correspondence, Hermione and Pansy seem to be the only people they know who haven't figured out one anothers' true identities. Is it a recipe for disaster—or romance??

Petunia Dursley is struggling to find her footing when Dudley leaves for university. She joins the Eardisley Women’s Institute despite Vernon’s grumblings. Her goal of making acquaintances suitable to invite over for tea is overshadowed after a chance encounter with the mysterious newcomer to the village. As she grows closer to Priscilla, everything she thought she knew about herself unravels.

This is a story about childhood enemies trying a tentative friendship far from the chaotic magical world. A tale about falling in love with the cute golden lesbian and the slow, ginger path of reconnecting with things that make you feel whole.
