The trope of LBH thinking SQH is his dad is hilarious, even more so depending on the time he formed this misconception. Disciple LBH would resent him but still yearn for affection. Post-abyss LBH wouldn't acknowledge him and would rather not look at his 'father' pathetic behavior.

Now imagine LBH being told that Tianlang-jun is his dad, and he immediately thinks SQH gave birth to him instead of realizing that SQH is unrelated to him.

There would be multiple instances of LBH hearing SQH mumble about his children, and he freaks out that he has siblings.

imagine an au where shen yuan transmigrates into a blank slate npc with very little system involvement, traveling around for a while until he's found by yue qingyuan and taken back to the sect because apparently shen qingqiu went missing around his transmigration period and shen yuan looks exactly like him, so it must be him, but then a few weeks later when he's just settled in on the peak and accepted his fate the real shen qingqiu shows up who was just on vacation and everyone forgot.

now there are two shen qingqiu's, one of whom is the real one and the other an amnesiac they gaslighted into believing he is shen qingqiu.

Thinking about Bingge x Bingmei again..

Despite having reasons to believe Bingmei is, in fact, stronger and could win (for starters, actually having a solid cultivation base, been purposefully taught and prepared for the challenges he would face and comming back earlier from the abyss, the years he spent fighting off Liu Qingge on a daily basis...) the fact that it doesn't matter is what fucks me over.

Because Shizun has looked at him and said if you cannot become strong, I will stay by your side and protect you 😭

Do you understand that? Can your mind wrap around the fact that he doesn't even need to brand the sword? He already won. The MILISECOND any indication is given that he is in danger, real or imaginary, Shen Qingqiu is going to put himself between his disciple and said danger. This fact alone is what would break Bingge in so many levels that even if he did kill both of them, kill their entire world, he would still loose, he would still be the weaker link, because there is no one holding his hand, he is fighting alone, he has nothing.
