The way I kinda understand it is:

1. No pronouns at all. No I, me, my, we, she, he, they, it, nothing.

2. Kraang is superior and only our names are valid. She's not "April O'Neil", she's "the one known as April O'Neil" because that's not the name the Kraang gave her, that's the name others refer to her as (same with "the turtles" and "the machine known as the [insert function] machine") that's not their correct (Kraang) name, but the ones they're referred to as.

3. At every possible opportunity, remind everyone that you are Kraang, your belongings belong to Kraang, and that Kraang is superior

4. Everyone is an idiot, so explain what you're doing so they can see how great Kraang is. (Aka easy exposition and explanation for the audience to understand)

So when the turtles show up, its not: "They're here, attack!" Its: "The ones known as the turtles are in the building known as Kraang's building. Kraang must use the weapon known as the laser weapon to eliminate the ones known as the turtles." You can have others interrupt them, but that's what they'd say if given the time.

I may be wrong, but this is how I understand their speech.

Like, how do you them talking? I love how they speak but God damnit, WHY IS IT SO HARD TO FIGURE OUT THEIR SPEECH PATTERN??

I dont have anything specific to ask, but I want to know more about your Parent Swap AU. Why does Shredder favor two of his sons more than the others? Are there gonna be any ships in the story?

Shredder favors Raph and Mikey (Aka Raion and Keiji) because they tend to do what he would do. In the show, during seasons one and two, we see that Shredder's strategy is mostly "keep attacking until they falter" like during that one episode (that I can't remember) when they're talking about beating everyone in the foot clan, comparing the fights to a video game. That's more Raph's fighting style, which is why he's the leader and favorite. He also is most likely to tell the others to follow Shredder, which earns him favors, though not out of any loyalty, but fear for their safety.

Mikey gets slightly favored because he's always been the most excited and interested in stories about Tang Shen and Miwa. Shredder views that as support for himself, which is why Mikey gets more favors, though not as much as Raph, due to his short attention span. Though there are things Mikey doesn't agree with, he's able to hold off and hide it until Shredder's not there.

Leo and Donnie are different because they outright didn't agree with him. Donnie, as we see in the show, isn't afraid to speak his mind if he thinks something is dumb. He's also very inventive, which has led to problems. I figured Shredder would be less tolerant than Splinter when a machine fails, leading to Donnie drawing his ire more often than not.

For Leo, part of the reason I had Shredder hate him so much was simply the amount of hatred he has for him in the show. In this AU, Leo's still the mom of his brothers, and he always gets between Shredder and his brothers. Not only does this anger Shredder because he's getting in his way, it makes him think of Yoshi, who he hates more than anyone in the world. Throughout the story, this is going to become more and more ironic (situationally) as it's revealed that Leo's more like Shen, the woman Saki worships. (I really like how @virgilisspidey wrote about it in their Mama Leo fic, which is also what made me realize the comparison for the first time).

(Also, a little thing I try to keep consistent is that Shredder never refers to the turtles as his sons. They call him Father, but he doesn't call them his sons, he sees them as weapons. As such, he favors the best fighters.)

As for ships, probably not in this story. The way I'm planning it is that the fic out now, Parent Swap, is going to be the first part of a series, and is mostly going to follow season 1, though I deviate at many instances. In this one, the overarching plot is the turtles escaping Shredder and his abuse. As such, they don't really focus on anything like that. I would like to add more later, but I also struggle to write romance as an aroace. I would like to add Capriltello, though, later in the series, as that is one of my favorite ships.

Do you have turtle designs for your parent swap fic? Do they wear generally the same gear as the show or is it different cause ✨shredder✨? I really really wanna draw Fanart the concept is so neat

Thanks for asking! Here's my drawing of them, though I haven't practiced enough to have a consistent style with them, so ignore if the proportions are wonky or something looks weird.

Generally, they have the same designs (Mikey and Raph are almost exactly the same), but there are some differences from Canon.

For instance, instead of the bulky padding, their knees and elbows are covered with dark fabric, similar to a compression sleeve. I really like how @probably-not-a-rutabaga draws them, like in this drawing.

The wraps are black (including the ones on their hands, but I struggled to draw the hands as is, so just imagine they're there). The one on Leo's right knee is slightly bigger to hide the scar from his knee injury.

In addition to the knee wraps, Leo wears a large scarf, which hides his throat and lower face to hide the scars on his throat and chest. His scars have long been healed over, so on his skin, they're a lighter shade, while on his shell, they're darker, spreading out in smaller cracks.

Donnie's design is different due to his shell. Slight spoilers (I think) but his shell was badly cracked. While I tried to stick to canon injuries by Shredder for Leo, there wasn't as much for the other three, so I decided to take influence from the 2018 series and gave him a prosthetic shell. The cracks, while healed over (white bone instead of textured shell), damaged the integrity of his shell, so he made a fake shell to go over top of it. It looks just like his real shell, except the slightly larger size, so that it won't tip off enemies of his weakness. To support it, he has two cross straps and a thicker belt.

Because I changed their names, I kept their colors the same for the story, just so it wouldn't be too confusing who was who. If I was drawing it, I would have probably gave them all purple masks because that's the color of the Foot clan.

Their weapons also stayed the same, just because I don't know enough about weapons to change it up. I did, however, make Raph's weapon daggers instead of sai because from what I understand, sais are supposed to be a defensive weapon, and the Shredder believes the only defense is a very aggressive offense.

I used my own human versions of Donnie and his brothers. Usually Donnie has shorter hair but I don’t know if he will get his hair cut like Rapunzel towards the end. So I gave him longer hair. If he does get that hair cut he'll have his "usual" hair style again.
