Whoever dwells in the shelter of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of the LORD, “He is my refuge and my fortress, my God, in whom I trust.” (Psalm 91:1,2)

See, my life kind of went like this
Psalm 34 verses 4 through 6
Who knew a cry in the dark would be the spark
That would make Jesus say
He’ll chip away my stony heart, until it was clay
Have You actually cried out to God…
— And He answers you!?
Tells you, You are redeemed I have plans for you!?
Tells You I’ve given you a new life
You are dead to sin and alive to God in Christ.
Also what happens within
You have a new love for Jesus…
You’ll never want to sin again!
It’s amazing! Do you get this ?
I am a living witness!!!!
I hope I got my point across
For the Son of Man came to seek and save the lost.

We need to be reminded of the cross every single day. Never allow the cross to lose its centrality to your life. To the world, the cross is a symbol of shame; to those who believe, it is a symbol of salvation, the power of God. God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us. The message of the cross is the ultimate love story. Through His shed blood Christ paid for the penalty of our sins. Yes, it seems almost mind-boggling to think that Jesus loved us so much that He freely gave His life for us. I John 3:16 I truly believe it was not the nails that held Jesus on the tree [cross], but rather it was His love for us.

This kind of exaltation blooms into a psalmic rhyme
Where acts of God’s kindness echo through time
To a seeking heart His grace is a tender quill
Inscribing the verses of comfort, easing every chill.
His mercy, an infinite and boundless stream
In the sanctuary of His arms, we find our dreams
Joy cascades like sunlight through the trees
Wrapping us softly in a gentle breeze
With justice that sings, but never constrains
He carves out understanding in our deepest pains
Each heartbeat speaks of a love profound
In the journey of life, His essence is found
He doesn’t wield power with cold, distant eyes
But walks beside us through lows and highs
Through labyrinths of sorrow, He lights every way
A compass of compassion that will never sway
So let this song rise, a hymn of the soul
Where the heart finds its haven, where fragments become whole.
For in every moment, and in each sigh,
His kindness lingers like stars in the sky

JESUS DIES ON THE CROSS
John 19:30 When Jesus therefore had received the vinegar, he said, It is finished: and he bowed his head, and gave up the ghost.

“But those who wait on the Lord
Shall renew their strength;
They shall mount up with wings like eagles,
They shall run and not be weary,
They shall walk and not faint.”
—Isaiah 40:31

Matthew 13:18-23
New Living Translation
18 “Now listen to the explanation of the parable about the farmer planting seeds: 19 The seed that fell on the footpath represents those who hear the message about the Kingdom and don’t understand it. Then the evil one comes and snatches away the seed that was planted in their hearts. 20 The seed on the rocky soil represents those who hear the message and immediately receive it with joy. 21 But since they don’t have deep roots, they don’t last long. They fall away as soon as they have problems or are persecuted for believing God’s word. 22 The seed that fell among the thorns represents those who hear God’s word, but all too quickly the message is crowded out by the worries of this life and the lure of wealth, so no fruit is produced. 23 The seed that fell on good soil represents those who truly hear and understand God’s word and produce a harvest of thirty, sixty, or even a hundred times as much as had been planted!”
