Forgotten Elegy is now open for new members!

Two groups of loners turn their sights towards clan territory. Will you join The Wayfarers, a hyper-spiritual group of clan descendants destined for MountainClan? Or will you join The Colony, a group of loner revolutionaries on their way to TimberClan? Their journeys have been long and arduous, but news of the clans signals a potential end to their travels. It is up to you now to continue their stories.

General applications will be open from Sunday, May 28th, 2023 until 11:59pm MST on Sunday, June 11th, 2023. Adoptable applications will close on Wednesday, June 7th.

You may apply for general applications, adoptable applications, or both. Each person is limited to applying for one original character and one adoptable, so choose wisely. We will be accepting 10 original characters in each group.

To those who are having trouble creating their own character, or would like to have a character with some involvement in the loner groups, we have made six adoptables for potential members! Three adoptables will go to the Wayfarers, a group of spiritual clan descendants bound for MountainClan. Three more will be a part of the Colony, a group of revolutionaries heading to TimberClan.

Adoptable applications will be open from Sunday, May 28th, 2023 until 11:59pm MST on Wednesday, June 7th, 2023. Original character applications will close on Sunday, June 11th for those that did not make the adoptable opening and would still like to apply.

When writing character histories, please keep in mind that your characters must begin as loners, either as a part of The Colony or The Wayfarers. Your character may not have any living history in a clan, however The Wayfarers may have long-distant relations within the clan. Please also note there will be no living NPCs in either loner group. This means that your character’s relations must be missing or dead when you apply. There will also be the opportunity to arrange character relationships with other members once you have been accepted into the group.

Meet Summitclaw, the last of the MountainClan-bound adoptables for our May 2023 opening!

Their only relative was found dead in the morning following a cursebreaking vigil, and now Summitclaw can’t be sure if the curse on their bloodline was truly broken before they died. Having proved unable to complete the ritual themself- and not for lack of trying- it seems Summitclaw must figure out how to adjust to living with a curse upon them.

What exactly has foiled Summitclaw’s efforts to clear their bloodline’s name? How will this superstitious cat cope and adjust to their new status and their group’s return to MountainClan? Decide their fate by applying for Forgotten Elegy in our upcoming opening!

Meet Tarmac, the last of the TimberClan-bound adoptable characters for our May 2023 opening!

Tarmac was exiled from the colony at a young age and forced to make a home for themself elsewhere. Many moons later, after encountering the travelling refugees from the now-defunct colony they were born into, Tarmac has agreed to join forces with them and offer their expert knowledge of the world outside the junkyard.

What was the crime that got Tarmac exiled? What do they think about once again joining with cats from their birthplace? Decide their fate for yourself by applying to Forgotten Elegy in our upcoming opening!

Meet Junipersong, another of the MountainClan-bound adoptables for our May 2023 opening!

Junipersong is a skeptical and outspoken wayfarer, always quick to voice their opinions. But beneath their brazen words and a veneer of total honesty, they harbor one secret too dangerous to speak aloud: despite what they may claim, they do not believe in StarClan at all. If they share this with their peers, they will be shunned… but how much longer can they stay silent?

Auto was once the youngest Keeper of the colony cats, but following its collapse they made the choice to join with the deserters. They have now become just another member of the ragtag group that now follows the trail of former colony exiles, in search of a new home…

Cranberrybranch is a devoted wayfarer and an accomplished historian, one of the most pious cats the group has ever known. The upkeep of wayfarer history, the maintenance of wayfarer traditions, and the continuation of the first trailblazer’s lineage is their greatest passion. They won’t be thrilled by anything that seems to threaten that…
