Meet Snoopy Kumiyama. On Sunday evening, February 9th @ 8pm, our dog Snoopy, Chihuahua mix, went for his normal walk around the neighborhood with owner Joseph Kumiyama, when suddenly a white – grayish PITBULL-MIX unleashed dog (whom we believe goes by the name PUPPY, for this name was being called during the incident) jumped out of a vehicle, what we believe to be a burgundy/tan minivan (lighting wasn’t fair), and viciously attacked our Snoopy. Unable for Joseph to separate Snoopy from the teeth of the dog, the Hispanic male who was next to the open door car was able to assist & detain the dog. Joseph, after carefully removing the hook of the leash that was attached to Snoopy’s collar (because the leash was unable to be removed for it was wrapped around the dogs), picked up Snoopy and informed this individual that he (Joseph) will be back. Joseph then ran home and immediately brought Snoopy to the Animal Hospital with brother Robert. Upon leaving home towards the Animal Hospital, Joseph noticed the man, dog, car & young female he had with him fled from the neighborhood. Within minutes of arrival to the Animal Hospital, after 10 minutes of attempting to save our beloved Snoopy, he was pronounced dead at 8:45pm from a ruptured lung & other possible skeletal/spinal/neck traumas. rest in peace our dear snoopy, ur life hear on Earth will always be remembered! <3 July 4th was the day God brought you into our lives! thank you for being the most wonderful & especially caring to both humans & pets. when I brought #finadene home for the first time, Snoopy was the first to welcome her into our home, sleep with her, take care of her & took the time to clean her ears when she slept. Everyday we encounter individuals who in their own special way change the world.
