A photo from memories, captured in May 2023.
Everyone has a superhero. For any girl in the world, her superhero is her father.
He is our hero. He is a doctor. Before this ongoing genocide, he worked at Al-Shifa Hospital. He is a wonderful plastic surgeon, loves his work and is committed to it, to help people and relieve their pain.
When We were forced to be displaced to Al-Shifa Hospital at the beginning of the war, he was still committed to his work. He worked nonstop for 40 days, besides caring for his family, especially in these difficult times!
But unfortunately the occupation stormed and burned the hospital after We were forced to evacuate , raising white flags. We could not carry anything, just our souls. We fled to the south on foot. He carried his two children in his arms, and walked long distances for many kilometers during the afternoon among tanks and heavily armed soldiers, and even among decomposing corpses!
Finally, we reached the UNRWA school at Khan Yunis. He started working in Nasser Hospital, which the occupation also stormed and destroyed! Even when we were displaced, he was working.
All that happened did not stop him from performing his lofty job as a doctor. He has now returned to work in MOH hospitals to carry out operations of debridement and grafting of needy injured people, but he is alone, we are far from him.
He decided to protect us and made a decision to refuge in Egypt to be survived. While he stayed in Rafah before the beginning of the military operation there. Then he was forced to be displaced to Deir Al-Balah.
Every morning he goes to work at Nasser Hospital in Khan Yunis and returns to his tent in Deir Al- Balah in the evening all week.
Is this what we and he deserve?
We stay away from our hero and torn our family. While at the same time, he is putting himself in danger while saving innocent lives!
For your information, his profession is considered more dangerous than ever before, due to the occupation’s systematic policy of targeting hospitals and medical staff!
All the day, we are worried about him. May Allah save him. Moreover, there is no safe place.
We hope to reunite again, we want each other, we want our home and our dreams!
We need your help and support to meet our father again, reunite our family and rebuild our lives. Little matters! Your little means a lot to us.
Please, donate or reblog this with others.

Is there any dream bigger than going home?
The life we built has been shattered, and though the pieces remain in our memory, they are out of reach. Forced to flee, we’ve found ourselves in a new place, one unfamiliar and strange. Here, we are starting again—new routines, new surroundings, and new struggles. Each day is a mix of feelings of longing and patience, as we build something new while holding tightly to the fragments of what once was.
Our hearts ache for our home, for the life we were forced to leave behind. Yet, amidst this longing, there is hope that one day we will return, not just to a place, but to the life that once was ours. Until then, we begin again, carrying our dreams and our love for home with us, wherever we go.
Please don’t hesitate to support our campaign, your contribution gives us one step forward to achieve our goals.

Hello supporters,
Yesterday was Ahmed’s birthday. I had hoped to celebrate this special day for him with joy and laughter, but it was different and I couldn’t make a party for him.
He turned three without his father by his side, the man he adores and looks up to, who is now far away, stayed behind in Gaza, committed to his work as a doctor, and faces the dangers of conflict every day, helping others even as he’s alone.
I wonder how Ahmed feels as he grows up in these circumstances, surrounded by challenges he’s too young to understand, he feels the absence, a missing piece in his little world. He didn’t know it wasn’t just the miles between Gaza and Egypt that separated them, it was a gap between life and death.
All he knows is that he misses his father. Despite it all, his little smile lights up even the darkest days.
On his birthday, with three candles he blows out, he sends a little wish across the miles. A wish for his father’s safe return, a wish that, one day soon, they will be together again, and for the world where we will be together peacefully.
We hold on to the hope that one day we will reunite as a family, rebuild our lives, and give Ahmed the life he deserves with his father by his side. This will be possible with your support, either through donations or by sharing our story with others.
Thanks

A photo from the archive. Summer of 2023
Hi hey hello, how are you? Is the world okay?
I am Zeina, a 4-year-old child from Gaza. I was living with my father, mother, and my little brother Ahmed in our beautiful home before we lost everything.
At the time when the world’s children were going to kindergartens, learning ,enjoying play, and having fun, we were forced to leave our home and dreams.
At the time when the world’s children were sleeping in their parent's lap and hearing bedtime stories, we were forced to separate from our father and endured refuge in Egypt with our mother.
At the time when the world’s children lived their lives peacefully, we were under bombing and hearing the sound of strikes.
At the time when the world’s children were laughing, we were crying and living with fear.
At the time when the world's children were eating, we were starving.
These are our feelings from the beginning of this ongoing genocide.
our story is here, please share it:
Little matters! Your little means a lot to us, and it saves entire families elsewhere in the world, so don't hesitate!
You can be a new hope to reunite our family and rebuild our lives again, when it is possible and be a safe place.
🙏 Thank you 🙏

Hello friends,
These words are from my dear husband Dr. Islam to our supporters. After one year of this ongoing genocide.
“ Dear supporters,
I hope these words find their way to you, wherever you are, and that in some corner of the world, you are safe. As I write this, my heart is filled with the hope of a day when the skies will clear, and peace will once again settle over our people.
“The Sunset, 11 October. 2024”
It’s hard to put into words the depth of pain we’ve all endured, the unspeakable loss that fills each day. Yet, despite the horrors, I cling to the thought of seeing my family again. In my dreams, I imagine the moment when we will stand face-to-face, no longer separated by violence, but united by the strength that has carried us through these dark times.
Yes, I chose to stay here committed to my work as a doctor at the hospital, but I wish for the day when the last echoes of war will fade, and we will walk freely under a sky that no longer burns with bombs. I long for the laughter that was stolen from us to return, for our children to play without fear, and for us to rebuild all that was taken away.
When that day comes, we will meet again—stronger, resilient, and with the knowledge that love and hope are greater than any force of destruction. Until then, I carry my wife and my kids in my heart, and I hold on to the belief that we will find our way back to each other, in a world that has finally found peace. Under one sky.
May this nightmare end soon, and may we embrace again in the light of a new dawn.
With all my love and hope.”
Dr. Islam 🍉🇵🇸🍉🇵🇸🍉🇵🇸
Nowadays, my husband Islam is living in a tent, facing danger and death from a nearby bombing to reach Nasser Hospital in Khan Yunis to carry out his humanitarian work and save many wounded and injured people, all of this while he is alone, we are far from him.
He does several operations of debridement and skin grafts for needed patients, to save their lives as well as he can,in very difficult conditions and severe shortages of medical supplies and medicines.
The primary goal of our campaign is to reunite our family after escaping him from Gaza and rebuild our lives again in a new place.
This will occur through your support and contributions of sharing and donating.
Please don't hesitate to support us. It may bring us a step closer to our goals and meeting him again.

"We Love Life" Mahmoud Darwish
"We love life as we can,
But our lives are not ours,
They are the lives of others,
We live as we can, and die as they want."
Despite the hardships, pain, and oppression, we continue to love life as we can.
There is a reminder of loving life is not just about the ideal conditions but about the strength to continue loving, despite everything that might seek to take it away.
“Our lives are not ours.”
