For many of us, Cartel has always been a special band. Their music has found its way into our lives over the past decade and no words will amount to how thankfully we all are. Currently touring in support of their album Chroma turning 10 years old this year, Will Pugh admitted to us that in the beginning, “It was pretty weird for us when Chroma started to become popular.” But we’re so glad it did. Read the full interview in our newest issue below.

Album Review // (409) - Purple
The three-piece Texas rock band, Purple, has released its debut album, 409. The album serves as a great first full-length for the band, as it contains high-energy guitar chords and a mix of screaming and smoothing vocal ability. While the album contains these elements throughout the entire record, it’s also powered by a very free-spirited and an “I don’t care” mentality, making the album that much more fun.
