reading the secret in vault 13 and i have to say the copious amount of classic who references is unbearable and just comes off as pretentious. there’s not fun little easter eggs when there’s 20 million of them every other page, it appears as if david solomons made a bet to get a fiver every reference he gets in. it is not enjoyable storytelling and it is not an authentic way to acknowledge the history of the franchise it just comes across as fanwanky
