In preparation for hosting the event, prompt suggestions/submissions for a 2025 MK1 RaiLao week are live! There are a few questions on here, both to gather suggestions and for people to give input on how they’d like the week (as well as future ones) to go, including possible nsfw prompts.

Note that it is MK1 version specific, as I do not feel comfortable with previous timeline Lord Raiden/Kung Lao as a ship, and it is also for all intents and purposes a completely different ship. This will be a week for MK1 timeline RaiLao specifically.

There is no set date for this form to close at the moment, as I need to finish a few of my own projects before hosting, but expect it to be up for about a month or so, with prompt voting happening some time in early September.

If you have other questions, suggestions, etc. please feel free to reach out via my ask box or the comments on this post. I’m super excited to host this event! Let’s gooo!

Hey Mortal Kombat fandom, I’ve been wanting to host a low effort (as host) fandom event lately and with SubScorp week as well as other events I’ve seen in other fandoms, I was thinking of hosting a ship week! My first thought is MK1 RaiLao, but if you guys have other ships you think would pull more people in/that you would be more interested in creating for, shoot me an ask or comment on this post!

I’m also thinking of hosting several, as it’s relatively easy to collect prompts and make a graphic, so let me know what you guys may enjoy
