Save the dates! From 7 - 13 August 2023, we invite you to celebrate and appreciate Helsa in any form of fan creations. For every 2 days, there are a one-word prompt and one AU prompt that can be used interchangeably (or even combined!). We are looking forward to see your submissions! 😊

DAY 1 - 2 (7 - 8 August). INTERTWINED / MYTHS AU.

“Intertwined, like two boats tied together at the docks or the hands that are joined in camaraderie.” / Folklore, a retelling of the stories of the Gods and Goddesses (Norse, Greek, Celtic).

DAY 3 - 4 (9 - 10 August). MEMORIES / SPORTS AU.

“Memories - the good and the bad, treasured or forgotten - may have a way of returning.” / Olympic Games, Professional Athletes, E-Sports Tournaments.

DAY 5 - 6 (11 - 12 August). ENCHANTED / HISTORICAL AU.

“Enchanted, almost like a deer in the headlights; bewitched, as if a spell is befallen upon you.” / Medieval, Regency, Victorian, Vikings, American Old West.

The Helsa server on Discord (https://discord.gg/ARshcdKPZH) is happy to host another spooky event this October 2021. Our (not-a-cult) group are opening our arms to welcome fellow Helsa lovers to participate in a month-long Helsaween event!

Week 1 (1-7 October) — Harvest

October is the month of the Harvest!

Whether that be harvesting souls or pumpkins 🎃 partaking in a Harvest Festival or, perhaps, a Harvest Moon ritual 🌙 is full of fun! Whatever the case there’s bound to be something for everyone.

Week 2 (8-14 October) — Shapeshifter

What is the Halloween season without costumes, make-up and monsters? Be it a product of magic or make-believe these transformations are something synonymous with the season 👀

Week 3 (15-21 October) — Haunted

To some, Haunted Houses might be a fun attraction, but most Hauntings (especially if they are real) aren’t so pleasant and often frightful. Yet, Ghastly ghosts 👻 aren’t the only things that can haunt us, our past and inner demons can take their toll as well.

Week 4 (22-28 October) — The Other Side

There’s a twisted side to everything. Deviant Worlds that are Wicked, Warped, or D i s t o r t e d; a Delusion perhaps from the one we’ve grown to love. Who really knows what’s on the other side? 🚪

Free days (29-31 October) — Free space/Repost

The Helsa Draw This In Your Style (DTIYS) Challenge

How This Works:

1. Look at the lovely starting drawing done by the wonderful @puryartist provided below and give us your version of it. Simple as that.

You are welcome to change the pose and other minor details if you like, but do try to keep the overall vibe.

I know it's supposed a Draw This In Your Own Style, but it doesn't have to be limited to just Digital/ Traditional drawings. If we have people who would rather use another media such as Dolls, Cosplay, Crotchet, etc. I say go for it!

It can be a Do This In Your Own Style instead.

2. Once your ready to share your creation, reblog it underneath the previous persons creation. In other words we're making a reblog chain! (I'll try my best to keep the most recent version of our chain pinned on the event blog).

To help me keep up-to-date as possible please tag @helsa-summer-event when you upload/ add your submission to the chain. It will be reblogged and pinned ASAP.

If the chain is accidentally broken I will DM you and ask you to reupload it correctly. We don't want any of the lovely works to end up getting lost.

I started this over a month ago trying to get it done as the first prompt for @helsa-summer-event​. But I kept getting distracted with video games or just plain tired from work.

I’m happy with this but I swear the background (which I draw from scratch, except for the cake and the snowgies because… yeah) was making me crazy.

Finally a new Helsa fan art from this guy! The next one will probably be the DTIYS, but I have no idea when I’ll start^^u
