Why I decided on clean eating?
So, it's been just over a week that I've supposedly started my 'clean eating' regime. Yes, I have stuck with it, but there are days where I gave into temptation or that I was eating with my family so I wasn't able to cook for myself.
What I've noticed is that now I'm starting to eat more vegetables, in particularly green vegetables, my stomach isn't as bloated. I've also cut down on my coffee intake and started to drink more green tea which has helped. Now when I finish meals, I don't particularly feel like I'm VERY full to the sense I can't move, but it's more of a content full… An energised full!
I feel motivated when I see a meal with more than three colours in it. It just makes me happy and makes me notice how much my meals have changed since now than a month ago. Every meal has been made from scratch, nothing pre-made has been bought from the shop, and surprisingly, they're all relatively easy to make! I've been doing a lot of research into whole raw foods vs processed food, and I'm only now starting to realise the major difference in terms of ingredients and health benefits. I'm slowlllyyy turning into 'that person' who looks at ingredients at the back of labels now! 😐
I'll always love food. There's no denying that. But, I'm really enjoying clean eating and making things for myself. I'm definitely finding it cheaper and more rewarding. Plus it tastes so nice! OK, I'm going to have some off days, where I will cave in and eat out, but I'm only human too. So long as I get my balance of eating correctly, I'll definitely feel the positive and more energised me! 
My next goals is to start drinking more water and make some energy bars/balls/bites! They just look so easy to make and so appetising.

So this is a bit silly! So much for beginning the new month with a fresh start but I'm not entirely sure what happened on this day. I must have forgotten to take photographs or eat properly, because I wasn't mentally feeling very well that day. I just remember watching back to back episodes of Gossip Girl feeling sorry for my lazy slobby self. Hopefully the month picks up!

Dinner 31.08.2014 … And then my family asked me to make BBQ chicken fajitas for dinner. (Sundays tend to me lazy days) I made sure to add extra vegetables; peppers, sweetcorn, kidney beans, red onions. I’m going to motivate myself to start my day tomorrow with a green juice.

Added some spicy bean curd to last night's rice. Some of the rice placed into one wholemeal pitta bread. Delicious!
I know it's bad but I skipped lunch today because I woke up FAR too late! So my breakfast was more of a brunch.
