Hey, just so you know, you’re a piece of shit. Idgaf if this post was three years ago, and idc if you’re “part Native American”, I fucking despise the modern popular interpretation of Wendigo myth, and so do MANY others

There's so many native American stories that have been bastardized, but this one sucks the most. It's not a story about a creature. It's a story about selfishness or greed, reflective later on of Western expansionism

now, it as a perfect example of native culture being stolen from its context to suit the emotional needs of, and for the enjoyment by, the people who stole the land, and people who have shitty tastes.
