“truth or dare”

eddie grins at you. “hmmm…. truth.” the hellfire session has just ended and you and eddie are chilling on the floor of the crowded room. “who is your crush?” you roll your eyes. “eddie, i’m not going to tell you! also i don’t really have one and if i did i wouldn’t tell you and you dont even know him and-”, you ramble, looking around the room nervously. “hey. y/n. it’s okay, if you don’t want to tell me, it’s okay.”, he smiles at you. “i’ll find out anyways.”, he adds quietly. “eddie!”, you push him down, laughing. but suddenly you’re on top of eachother, lips only inches away from his. “eddie…”, you whisper. “hey! what are you guys doing?” you and eddie pull apart. “uh… nothing!” “just playing truth or dare!” you two say at the same time. “oh! can i join?”, gareth asks. “oh! uh, alright!” “sure!” he sits down next to you two. “alright. y/n, who is your crush?”, gareth asks you. “really?! eddie just asked me that!”, you roll your eyes. “well… who is it?” “noone?”, you reply quietly. “is it steve? steve harrington?”, gareth asks. “no, ew!”, you reply. “well, is it jeff then?”, he raises is eyebrows. “oh god no.” “okay… then… eddie?” “what?! oh no, no! i would never like eddie, he is not even my type, he-”, you panic, looking around nervously. “okay.”, gareth grins, “it’s definitely eddie. definitely.” “what?!”, you and eddie say in unison, “no way!” “eddie is not-” “y/n would never-” “i mean y/n is perfect, she would never like me!”, eddie stutters. “you… you think i’m perfect?” “i mean… yeah, you’re literally gorgeous, like your curves and your skin and everything about you.” gareth grins at both of you at the same time. “alright. i’m going to leave now.” “soo… did you mean everything you just said?”, you ask eddie, after gareth left the room. “i don’t know…”, he looks down. “we could…”, you start, but eddie cuts you off, by kissing you. you pull away. “eddie?”, you look at him with your big doe eyes and god, he thinks he’s going to go crazy. “i really like you, y/n. like, i think i love you. too much.” you smile. “i love you too eddie, i’ve loved you for a while and i think i always will. god.”
