HERE’S THE UPDATE!
#1 - Sublimation
#2 - Daddycop
#3 - The Illustrhater
#4 - Werepapas
#5 - Revelator (Despite the cold open of Ladybug and Cat Noir teaching “The Miraculers” to keep from transforming back, where Miss Hound is still in her Season 4 suit, this is just a flashback meant to foreshadow Cat Noir’s power upgrade this episode. Miss Hound is seen in her new getup later on when Alya shows Marinette a video from the Ladyblog. Nothing here to say that this came before the previous episodes.)
I’m so happy with Miraculous today. We had back to back bangers this weekend, and I’m so excited for the next new episode. However, I have found it annoying that not only the episodes airing out of order, but the episode listings themselves aren’t in order either. So, I’m putting together a handy little viewing guide that I will update each week we get a new episode! So, this is for all the episodes we’ve seen up until Werepapas.
- Order of Episodes -
#1: Sublimation (Caroline is akumatized this episode, which is recounted in S6E2. Also, the girls mentioned inviting Sublime in Daddycop, giving me reason to assume that she has become friends with Marinette by that point.)
#2: DaddyCop (Since Miss Hound’s old design appears in this episode for the last time and she updated her suits this episode, this puts it before S6E2, where her new suit appears.)
#3: The Illustrhater (Miss Hound’s new design appears here, putting it after DaddyCop. Caroline and Caline Bustier recount being akumatized by Chrysalis, putting this episode after their respective episodes.)
#4: Werepapas (Nothing significant seems to put this in a spot that would be considered out of place on the timeline, so I’m putting it in the latest point.

Man, I love Miraculous London’s ending. The way it takes you from the very end of the series as a whole to all the way at the beginning is so beautiful and heartfelt. When Marinette does her classic “Miraculous Ladybug” to repair the damage caused, and she just… Vanishes from the Burrow. We see Marinette from the second episode take the earrings to decided what she’s gonna do in Origins, and then our current Marinette, ecstatic for things having worked out. And the music for this scene? I adore it. Her saying goodbye to the Kwamis, Ladybug and Cat Noir’s last rooftop scene of this animation style… And capping the whole special off with a sneak peek at the next season? It truly was the end of an era. I don’t usually feel so moved by a saga of a cartoon ending, but this show’s a special case.

Switching Superhero franchises for a second from Miraculous.
I’ve been on an Incredibles obsession for the past few days. The two films are my favorites from Pixar. The first one was my childhood superhero movie, and I am eagerly awaiting more news on Incredibles 3.
I know Incredibles 2 is not the most enjoyed sequel, but I’m gonna be a contrarian and say that Screenslaver is the best part of this movie.
Evelyn Deavor is such a bizarre and unique twist villain that I absolutely adore. While I think Syndrome is more intimidating and had a more disturbing plan, Evelyn’s motivations and backstory are much more exciting. The idea that society has grown dependent on Supers is a point that I can’t help but understand. Her belief that superheroes make the rest of the world weaker, and that everyone is supposed to trust them, despite the damage that they cause and the over reliance on them.
I do not agree with her. But damn do I love her motive. And I like how when she’s using the ‘Screenslaver’ scapegoat, she’s alluding to her points she makes to Helen later in the film. She remarks how people don’t deal with their own problems. They sit back and watch Supers deal with them for them. And then Screenslaver goes on a tangent that Evelyn doesn’t mention again, about how we as humans have replace all of our activities and experiences with technology or simulations.
God, such a cool villain. I’m a sucker for a villain that raises good points, but is still very much an irredeemable character with vile goals.
And how could I forget what Evelyn says at the beginning of Screenslaver’s speech?
“Don’t bother watching the rest. Elastigirl doesn’t save the day. She only postpones her defeat.” Outright alluding to how Helen’s racing to catch a scapegoat, a proxy. Not even the real villain.
Evelyn’s schemes and methods are also a contradiction of her own philosophy in a sense. She sits back, watching Super’s that she’s hypnotized going around doing her dirty work to keep herself from being discovered. She herself has this over reliance on technology.
God, I love Evelyn Deavor.

Rewatching Miraculous London, and damn, this scene where Marinette wakes up to Chrysalis making her wish? Absolutely terrifying.
Marinette’s life was already pretty miserable at this point. She’s lying to her boyfriend, she just saw his dad die, she lost the Butterfly Miraculous, and failed to stop its last holder from making his wish.
And then when she’s finally hidden everything, lied to the world, and recovered all but one of the Miraculous from the Miracle Box, and basically cried herself to sleep before she figures out what to do next.
And then she wakes up to Chrysalis making that wish. I love this scene. The way it’s so red and blinding, the sound of the wish’s power screeching as it spreads across the world, the choir singing as the wish is made, and Marinette slowly realizing what’s happening, it’s all so well done, it’s just so well done.
I need to know what Chrysalis wants. Who is this girl? What desire could this girl have that when she steals the Miraculous and calls upon Gimmi, it destroys the entire timeline? There’s no future? Or it’s so drastically different that it erases as everything as they know it?
Long story sort, Chrysalis is absolutely terrifying.

I know my posts in the past few days have all been about Miraculous, but every time I see people in comments saying “Old is Gold” in reference to the new animation style, I remember probably my hottest take about the show.
I absolutely hate OG Season1-5 Cat Noir’s Design.

I just know that Jinx showing up in that improvised hot air balloon pissed Ambessa the fuck off
Just picture the situation. You’re a hardened warrior, leader of a nation legendary for its strength and reputation, and you’re about to complete the siege of a country with the numbers possible to protect you from an arcane evil. And then, this woman covered in tattoos and paint comes flying in from the clouds blasting sick beats on her boombox with her boyfriend. I just know that if those two met face to face, Ambessa would just be annoyed.
The cold and calculating forces of evil are no match for the mentally ill.

YEAHHH WEREPAPAS
I’m so excited for this episode, you have no idea. Since Gloob is on a hot streak and has decided to jump the gun once again, I’m gonna break down some details of the trailer that stuck out to me.
First things first: Nathalie. Girl, we missed you so much, welcome back. Second. It seems that from the look of things, this episode is very much going to focus around Adrien and who he should be with. I’ve noticed people talking about the hug that Nathalie fails to reciprocate. I feel that this is from the start of the episode, and Adrien is nervous of being taken away from his home and friends, and his “Mom.” I don’t know if Nathalie had planned this meeting, or if she’s caught by surprise. Nathalie still hasn’t settled in that role of a mother that Marinette said she had to fill. Maybe she feels out of place and powerless in this situation, and feels that maybe it would be better if he was with his actually family, sort of like what she was suggesting back in Season 5 to Gabriel.
SPEAKING OF GABRIEL
I love the Grassettes. I love them both so much. They’ve got Jagged Stone merch on, love that for them. It’s not much of a surprise how we haven’t seen them before, as Gabriel very much wanted to leave this part of his life behind. But regardless, they’re clearly the more “undignified” side of the family. It’s interesting how Gabriel had more free parents, yet he became more controlling, while Emilie had very strict parents, yet she was more free. I think that if anything, the Grassettes want to make sure Adrien either comes with them because they’re his closest to connection to the last living relative he had, or they’ll just want to make sure he feels happy at home with Nathalie. I doubt Emilie would want Nathalie to just send Adrien away.
And speaking of Emilie…
Meet the Graham de Vanilys. First real mention we got of this pair was in Representation (One of my favorite episodes of all time), and it seems that Grandma over here will be our main antagonist. Clearly the matriarch of the family. I really and truly hope that Felix and Amelie make an appearance, or at the very least, Argos. Speaking of him, I think the real reason that the Graham De Vanilys are here is to collect the Twin Rings.
Not only is grandma wearing them when she’s akumatized, but Ladybug has them in another shot of the trailer. How she gets them from Adrien? I have no idea. But this is why I hope Argos shows up, perhaps to reinforce the importance of Adrien keeping them.
Oh, Adrien is trapped inside that trophy, 100%. I am willing to bet money on it. Also, the Mansion seems to be redecorated. Nice. Also, welcome back gorilla. It’s been a minute. Also, maid Marinette is back. It’s been a couple minutes. Another thing to note, Grandma Grassette is in this shot, which leads to believe that since she isn’t in any other shot of the fight between Ladybug and the Werepapas, she doesn’t get akumatized. Poor lady went to meet her grandson and all hell broke loose.
Based on the previous trailers and this one, Grandma Graham De Vanily is forcing the two sides of the family to fight for the rings, and in turn, Adrien. Both Grandpas gets akumatizes are duking it out with ladybug, while Grandma has taken the role of sport commentator. Please just don’t let the rings be the akumatized object. PLEASE.

Girl, what do you need an office with a floor to ceiling window for? And the walkway over a zen garden? The collection of swords? The differently leveled floors?
High heels when you need a cane to walk and can’t see your surroundings???
Nah, this bitch is not blind, I totally believe Mrs. Tsurugi is way more able than she lets on.
