“Wonsik! I love it! Can I please get a free copy?” 

You yelled at your boyfriend on the other end of the line as you held your phone in your hand and stared at the new VIXX individual posters. You were in your office when you received a notification of a new post and you immediately checked your instagram to see the masterpieces. Instead of screaming internally, you chose to call your boyfriend and scream over the phone. 

He giggled, in his deliciously husky voice, and then asked: 

“I’ll think about it. Now tell me which one is your fave?”

What kind of a question is this? You thought as you smiled to yourself, thinking of a way to tease him. 

“Taekwoon’s! Did you see those legs?”

“What?”

He exclaimed and your burst out laughing. 

“I was kidding, of course yours is my fave!” 

You said and you knew he was smiling to himself smugly, his lips tilted more to the right and his cheeks go on. 

“When are you coming home?”

He asked, and since he hasn’t mentioned anything about your birthday, which was today, you didn’t say anything about it either. Your plans included spending the night with him, maybe going out for dinner first and then going home and cuddling for the rest of the night? But, since he seemed to forget all about your birthday, you decided to say:

“Not sure. Why?”

“I’ll finish practice at 6. Will you be at home by then? I got you something.” 

Something? Does he remember? you thought to yourself before saying: 

“6 sounds good to me. I’ll have lunch with a friend after work so I think I’ll be home an hour or so before 6.” 

“Great. I’ll be there as soon as practice is over.”

It was around 5:30 when you arrived to your apartment after having lunch with your friend. You took your shoes off before looking at your phone. Wonsik would be here in 30 minutes, you thought as you walked toward your bedroom. You almost dropped your phone as you let out a scream when you found someone laying on your bed. 

“You scared me!” 

You yelled at Wonsik, who was laying on your bed in the same suit he was wearing in that glorious poster and in the same exact position. The only difference was that he opened a third button revealing a part of his chest and his ���YOLO” tattoo. 

You swallowed hard as you felt your insides heat up. You took a step in his direction as you asked: 

“When did you get here?”

He looked at his watch and then said: 

“Half an hour ago.”  

“Why didn’t you call me?”

“I wanted to surprise you.” 

You sat on the edge of your bed next to him. He patted the empty spot next to him and you lifted your legs up and scooted closer to him. He cupped your face and stared at you dotingly as he said:

“Happy Birthday!” 

He remembered!

A wide smile crept into your lips as you placed your hand on his. Your cheeks turned a light shade of pink as he continued to stare at you before asking: 

“Do you want to see your gift?”

Your eyes sparkled in excitement as you nodded and then asked: 

“Did you get me a copy of that poster?”

He unbuttoned a fourth button as he moved closer to you and said in a low voice: 

“I got you the model himself.” 

He pushed himself up before placing a hand on your shoulder and pushing you lightly into the mattress. Hovering over you, his hot breath tickling your lips, he leaned forward and printed a peck on you lips before whispering: 

“Would you like to unwrap your gift or do you want me to unwrap it for you?”

Your cheeks flushed and the butterflies in your tummy unleashed at the proximity between your lips and his. He unbutton another button and you caught yourself staring at his chest. He held your chin up with a smirk on his face as he said: 

“Do you like your gift so far?”

You could only nod and he giggled before saying: 

“There is a lot more to see.” 

“Then show me.” 

He leaned closer until his lips were almost touching the tip of your nose as he whispered: 

“My pleasure.”

Hyuk x Reader x Ken

You took a final look at yourself in the mirror before leaving your room and walking toward the living room. You entered the living room to find your boyfriend and your brother, what a strange combination, sitting, waiting for you. Sanghyuk was watching TV while Jaehwan sat in the corner, waiting for you to pull him out of his awkward conversations with your brother. Who are you? Why are you here? Suddenly jumped to If you ever bother my sister I will find you and I will… well… Sanghyuk had always been overprotective. Being his elder, and only, sister, he somehow felt that it was his responsibility to ensure your everlasting happiness. This meant putting all your male friends and any possible boyfriend under intensive investigations.

You walked into the room and their jaws dropped. Jaehwan got off his seat to walk in your direction but was immediately pulled back into the couch by Sanghyuk’s strong arm. A tiny blush crept into your cheeks when they were both staring at you in admiration.

“You look beautiful!”

Jaehwan said, avoiding Sanghyuk’s piercing stare.

“You look gorgeous!”

Sanghyuk said, emphasizing the word gorgeous, in an attempt to overshadow Jaehwan’s compliment. You giggled before grabbing your purse and looking at Jaehwan.

“Shall we go?”

Sanghyuk exchanged looks with you and Jaehwan before pursing his lips and asking:

“You’re going out like this? with him?”

“Hey!”

Jaehwan whined as he got off his seat and hid behind you. You held his hand in yours and smiled at him before answering your brother’s question:

“Yes. What’s wrong with him?”

You turned around and blew Jaehwan a kiss, much to your brother’s chagrin. He pretended to throw up and Jaehwan frowned.

“Don’t be like this!”

“Like what?”

Sanghyuk answered back as he crossed his arms in front of his chest. You looked at Jaehwan to find a blush creeping into his cheeks. You handed him your purse as you said:

“I forgot my phone. Wait for me in the car.”

“Are you going to be okay with him?”

He asked as he stuck his tongue out at Sanghyuk.

“Just go, I’ll follow you in a second.”

He left you with Sanghyuk and waited inside his car. You let out a sigh as you sat down next to your brother.

“So, are you going to tell me what’s wrong?”

Sanghyuk remained silent as he flipped through the channels looking for nothing in particular. You nudged his shoulder before grabbing the remote control and forcing him to look at you.

“Answer me.”

He took a deep breath before saying:

“Nothing is wrong.”

“Why are you bothering him then?”

You asked and waited for an answer.

“I just… You spend a lot of time with him recently and I rarely get to see you at home.”

The pout on his lips and the hint of sadness lingering in his voice broke your heart. After all, he’s your baby brother, no matter how tall and how masculine he is, he’s still your baby brother. You placed your hand on his shoulder and he lifted his head up to look at you.

“You know how much I love you, right? I’ll never love anyone like I love you!”

“I doubt it.”

He said and you drew a smile on your face before saying:

“How about we go out together tomorrow? Just you and me. And we can go anywhere you want.”

His face lit up and he thought for a second before asking:

“Do you promise?”

You nodded and his grin became wider. He then got off his seat and went inside your room. You looked at him, puzzled. Where is he going?

He came back a second later holding a jacket in his hand. He placed the jacket on your exposed shoulder as he said:

“I can’t let you go out like this.”

You smiled before getting off the couch and walking toward the door. He followed you as he said:

“Don’t be late. I won’t sleep until you’re home.”

You didn’t say anything as you walked through the door toward Jaehwan’s car.

“Call me if you need anything. I won’t put my phone on silent.”

“Okay.”

He was still talking even though you were already getting into the passenger seat.

“And don’t take that jacket off. The weather is getting colder.”

You giggled as you said:

“Okay mom.”

He smiled warmly and waved at you. You waved back before turning to look at Jaehwan, asking if he’s ready to go. As soon as you looked away from him, Sanghyuk glared at Jaehwan as he moved his thumb across his neck. Jaehwan’s eyes widened in shock and you turned around trying to figure out what had alarmed him like this to find Sanghyuk still smiling and waving at you. You turned back and said:

“He said he’ll kill you, right?”

Jaehwan gawked at you and then nodded. To his surprise, you laughed as you placed your hand on his shoulder:

“He does this all the time but he’s harmless. Beyond his tough appearance there is a cute little puppy that is just overprotective.”

Jaehwan swallowed hard as he forced a smile before saying:

“A puppy you say? I’m sure you mean a husky.”

You laughed and the frown on his face disappeared as he drove out of the driveway while stealing glances at Sanghyuk through the rear-view mirror. His smile grew bigger when he realized you were right. Sanghyuk stood at the doorway looking at the car getting out of sight like a tiny little puppy waiting for his human to go back home. The scene warmed his heart but he knew he’d never want to upset you, not only because he’s madly in love with you, but because your puppy would make him regret it.
