“I really love Hayden… So much has happened in our lives. I realized that this is an important person in my life.” Another interview with Ewan McGregor, Hayden Christensen, and director Déborah Chow for @VanityFair.

“These characters love each other like brothers. That’s why the fight on Mustafar is so tragic, you understand that relationship and their history. You are watching these brothers fight to the death. There is a continuation of that emotional feeling that leads to this story.”

“It was so brilliant and easy to do all these things with Hayden, because we’ve been through so much together. We were in Australia, a lot of people don’t know this, but we shot Episodes II and III on soundstages in Sydney. We were far away, on the other side of the world. I was very young and I was away from home for a while.“

“I really love Hayden. And I never fought him, but I hadn’t seen him in a long time. From time to time I would hear that someone had seen it, and we rarely kept in touch.”

“Ewan and I have a special bond, definitely because of the time we spent together in the prequels, and also because of the characters we play and their relationship.”

Ewan comments on a day when he ran into Hayden after years later at an autograph session: “As I was leaving, [Hayden] came in. I hadn’t seen him in 12 years or so. It was beautiful to see.”

Still on the unexpected reunion between Ewan and Hayden, Ewan comments, “It was hard to sum it up. Because so much had happened to us in our lives. I realized that [Hayden] was an important person right in front of me, an important person in my life.”

Ewan and Hayden talk about the day they met at Ocean Avenue Park in Santa Monica. “We had our COVID masks and baseball caps,” says Christensen.

“The two of us haven’t really dated in years and years. We were outdoors and it was the height of COVID, so we were masked. I could only see his eyes, but he was so big. It was like no time had passed between us,” says McGregor.

“We ended up knowing what was going on in each other’s lives, it was really nice to reconnect with my friend, who I love so much. That was one of the blessings of this project. It brought us together again. And that is a beautiful thing,” adds Christensen.

Era muy joven y yo estuve fuera de casa por un tiempo".

“Realmente amo a Hayden. Y nunca peleé con él, pero no lo había visto en mucho tiempo. De vez en cuando escuchaba que alguien lo había visto, y rara vez nos mantuvimos en contacto".

“Ewan y yo tenemos un vínculo especial, definitivamente por el tiempo que pasamos juntos en las precuelas, y también por los personajes que interpretamos y su relación”.

Ewan comenta sobre un día en que se topó con Hayden después de años después en una sesión de autógrafos: “Cuando me iba, [Hayden] entró. No lo había visto en 12 años más o menos. Fue hermoso verlo”.

Todavía sobre el inesperado reencuentro entre Ewan y Hayden, Ewan comenta: “Fue difícil resumirlo. Porque nos habían pasado tantas cosas en nuestras vidas. Me di cuenta de que [Hayden] era una persona importante justo frente a mí. , una persona importante en mi vida.”

Ewan y Hayden hablan sobre el día que se conocieron en Ocean Avenue Park en Santa Mónica. “Teníamos nuestras máscaras COVID y gorras de béisbol”, dice Christensen.

“Nosotros dos realmente no hemos tenido una cita en años y años. Estábamos al aire libre y era el apogeo de COVID, así que estábamos enmascarados. Solo podía ver sus ojos, pero era tan grande. Era como si no hubiera pasado el tiempo entre nosotros”, dice McGregor.

“Terminamos sabiendo lo que estaba pasando en la vida de cada uno, fue realmente agradable volver a conectarme con mi amigo, a quien quiero mucho. Esa fue una de las bendiciones de este proyecto. Nos unió de nuevo. Y eso es algo hermoso”, añade Christensen.

It’s based on the side story “Moon Age: 14” at the end of the novel, but it’s really just a cute little clip of Hira and the ever so gorgeous Kiyoi.

The original clip has Japanese captions in black boxes, so sorry if it looks a little rough but I placed the English on top of it as best I could.

This game gets it though. And it was better than any recent MCU portrayals of these characters and despite what happens in this game, I liked it more than the recent movies too.

The God of Mischief may be full of tricks, but this post sure isn’t. Read on for some spoiler-free facts and data about Tumblr’s favorite son of Odin and Frigga, and his solo entry in the MCU.

After 10 years and six appearances in Marvel’s Cinematic Universe, it’s finally Loki’s time to shine and, maybe, finally get that redemption arc we’ve all been dreaming of.
