I actually have an AU where Lloyd runs off and is eventually found disguising himself as a cat and now everyone’s under the impression that a cat is literally the green ninja and they can’t do anything about it no one recognizes him and thinks he is female because he’s a calico cat and they’ve already named him after a condiment so at that point do you really think he really wants to go back?

Okay this started off with one question but then I started rambling but I'm sure other people will at the very least find it amusing if not also be left wondering

*Sentient* as in a certain level of self awareness instead of instincts, the level is in relevance to humans because I'm a human

So can non sentient creatures become elemental masters?

Like could a literal cat be the elemental master of agility and no one know because they think that's just normal cat stuff?

We know dragons have a varying scale of sentience and can have elemental powers at the same time as the elemental master because that's the nature of dragons

But could a dragon be the actual elemental master of that element? Like they could participate in the tournament of sources?

Like what are the requirements to be an elemental master?

We know you need elemental power but like is there other requirements other mastery of said elemental power?

Do you need a certain level of sentience?

We know you don't have to come from a mortal species because FSM, Wu, Garmadon and Lloyd (also arguably Zane)

Could a spell turned person like Bonzle become an elemental master if they become a person like Bonzle did? Or would they have to be made with elemental power for it to be an option if it is an option

And since Morro was able to be the master of wind as ghost could that mean the skeletons (crucha and knukle) be elemental masters?

Or do they have to have it in life first

Could an oni (not counting the fsm's family) be an elemental master but still have destruction? Or would the destructive power be inaccessible because of the elemental power?

I know I will never truly get answers because the writers never put enough thought into world building but hey that's what the fandom is right?

my versions of oni have the chance to have more than just duplicated arms so I like to imagine that some of them are both male and female because of that or just double male or double female and because dragons are reptiles and reptiles are kind of difficult to figure out the gender of sometimes (I would know I have a snake but I still don’t know the gender after more than a year of owning her I say her because her name is Princess peach) I like to imagine Lloyd just randomly texting nya in a panic like what the fuck isn’t this only supposed to happen to women???

his mother’s just like oh yeah I forgot we never figured that out

his dad is panicking in the background thinking he’s failed as a father again for not mentioning that

Wu doesn’t care in the slightest and is deciding to leave it up to everyone else to deal with

The guys are of course teasing him because they’re less mature than a stereotypical teenage boy who just heard someone say penis in a Biology class

and then there’s the possibility that everyone just forgot to tell him and now he thinks he’s dying because he’s leaking an entire gallon of blood and in severe pain

Then Nya is relating to him because her only caretaker was a teenage boy not that much older than her

meanwhile FSM’s just enjoying his afterlife hearing the chaos from the living and just sipping his tea like it’s a normal Sunday

Puberty must've been wild for Lloyd

Not because he didn't know what to expect but because he probably got multiple versions of "The Talk" and isn't even sure what is supposed to be happening anymore

Because like he probably got the human version of "The Talk" from all of the ninja

Nya also probably tried giving him a small summary of what girls went through when he asked about the period products in the bathroom one time

(Like an awkward "Well you know how the guys warned you about how your body has chanhed? Girls bodies change too but we get periods which is bleeding down there about once a month" while they are both wishing they never said anything in the first place)

Zane probably gave Lloyd like a full human biology lesson on it

Then Garmadon would've talked to Lloyd and was honest that he doesn't know what was puberty and what might've been from the venom. Not to mention he's not human so some things must be at least a little different

Then Mystaké probably got her hands on Lloyd and gave him a run down of what onis go through which probably left him super confused because what does she mean "horns are for displaying?" And "longer fangs are more desirable?"

Like theres no way he kept track of all the info

And he had plenty of ideas of what to expect but also none at all

And then when things just started happening he just went "this is probably normal" and decided to ignore it

Do you think Lloyd believed in Santa as a kid (even up to Child’s Play) and once he got aged up the other ninja just… forgot to tell him.

Like, he’s a teen now. What teen doesn’t know? So they forget that Lloyd was never told up until he mentions it one year. Now they have to break it to this like 17 year old that Santa isn’t real.
