I don't have anyone to keep me in line like you do, baby.

Great minds, Miss :)

PM: Clearly I'm just the best Domme.
PM: You're so adorable.
PM: Ah. Yeah I can see how that's awkward. Need some help getting that taste out of your mouth?
PM: I’m upset that I didn’t run into you at the masquerade.
PM: I’m even more upset about who I did run into though. I might die.
PM: As am I, sweetness. Though, I would much rather see your beautiful face when we play.
PM: Who might that be?

PM: You're always super pretty no matter what you're dressed up as. I can always give you a private viewing of my costume. Complete with the toy I kept stashed in my pocket ;)
PM: You know you can tell me anything, my sweetness.

PM: I would love to see you have words with anyone, cutie. I feel like it would be like watching a teacup Chihuahua bark at a Great Dane. It is - but it's one I welcome.
PM: Good. I mean we're practically family now too so I'd have to have words with him, Miss. I'm sure. It's a big adjustment for everyone I bet.

Kyla was adorable with her whining and her sweet, pleading gaze. But - as cute as she was - Gwen wasn't going to risk possibly hurting her further by heading in to town. Plus, she wasn't about to tell Kyla this, but they had definitely missed their reservation and she would absolutely have to make another. "Sorry, sweetness, I"m putting my foot down. You can wear it for me another night," she assured Kyla, leaning down to kiss her nose.
“Another night, Miss?” Kyla spoke. “But I’m-I’m fine.” She was preparing to try to argue her way through the situation, occasionally as stubborn as she was sweet. “I have a cute dress,” she tried to entice. “It’s sweet and soft, just like you wanted.” She laid her head on Gwen’s chest and gazed up at her. “Please, Miss? I can walk.”

The way she reacted pinged even more alarm bells for Gwen. What had happened to her girl? Gwen took the bottle and frowned - that didn't seem like enough to keep her properly hydrated for the amount of exercise she'd been doing. She kissed Kyla's cheek gently. "I think we'll go to dinner another night, sweetness. I don't want you to hurt yourself even more walking around, and as tiny as you are, I can't carry you all night in heels," she teased. "We'll go upstairs and order in."
“Four hours?” She let out before clearing her throat and trying to sound like she’d done it knowingly. “I mean, yes. Four hours.” She reached for her water bottle and shook it, noting that about half the water was gone. That was something, at least. “I drank some,” she said simply, again trying to sound more sure of herself. This wasn’t the first time something like this had happened, but there was no reason for Gwen to have to know that it was a thing even this once. She was starting to come back to herself now, and she didn’t want to worry the Domme. “Do I have to wear the ice wrap? It won’t look cute when I put my dress on.”

Her eyebrows rose. "So you've been here dancing, alone, for... four hours?" She didn't like that. She knew, obviously, rehearsals could run long, but the fact that Kyla was here alone and so immersed she hadn't even noticed the time... "Have you had water or anything to snack on while you've been in here?"
“It’s in my bag,” she said absently, still wondering how time had flown by. She certainly hadn’t missed her dinner with Gwen on purpose. Kyla stared at her phone’s clock, like it was a trick. “I’ve been here since right after classes.” It had been hours. And she had danced for hours before, of course. It wasn’t even that big of a deal for her. Aside from the fact that it hadn’t felt like much more than twenty minutes- a fact that she was not going to say out loud.

PM: He is. He's been wonderful through this whole thing. I am, slightly. I've met some of them but knowing them in this new capacity will be interesting.
PM: Thank you Miss.
PM: Wow. Sorry. I keep saying that. Is he welcoming you good? Are you nervous to meet them all? There are so many of them!

PM: Well, overcoming things looks different for everyone. Just because you don't have some huge dramatic thing happen in your trial doesn't mean anything.
[PM] I can only begin to imagine.
[PM] Not yet, which in itself is probably a pretty big road bump. I know they'll want us to be able to talk about the things we've overcome.
