So a few people encouraged me to make content of my dc fan story despite my initial hesitations (which i thank all who did) so here is a first sketch of my version of Donna Troy, who is the main character of my fan story. I’ll reveal more later but i hope you enjoy my interpretation

Alright guys, sequel avatar story/fanfic idea. So a few years before the current story, a massive mysterious nuclear spirit bomb went off in the earth kingdom, causing each of the nation’s terrains to be turned up to the max. All of the fire nation’s volcanoes are constantly erupting, the water tribes are now down to a subzero temperature with icy cold storms, the air temples are surrounded by heavy winds and tornadoes, and the earth kingdom experiences constant earthquakes and sandstorms (depending on where you are bc the earth kingdom is big). Due to the nuclear fallout that seeped in through the spirit portal, the spirit world is slowly dying, with each of the spirits slowly losing their powers along the way and becoming mortal. Eye witnesses stated that moments before the bomb went off, they saw the avatar go into the avatar state and try and contain it, only for him to be blown up and dying along with the possibility of future avatars. Now in the present day, the main character, a chi blocking girl who was childhood friends with the avatar, visits her grandfather that reveals 3 things to her on his death bed. 1. The avatar didnt die from the bomb and is still alive. How does he know this? Bc he captured the avatar the day the bomb went off. 2. The people who were arrested for making and setting off the bomb are not the true perpetrators, and that the real ones are still out there, with the avatar imprisoned and they might have more social and political power than most would think. 3. Those perpetrators are planning on setting off another bomb in 2 years time, this time in the spirit world. Now it is up to her, her brother, an outlaw, and a scientist to find where the avatar is and to stop the people who have the second bomb

Sidenotes:

1. I was thinking that the reason they take the avatar is bc he has the power to reverse the effects of the bomb, which they dont want, but they kept him alive bc they need him for their schemes

2. If you couldnt tell, im being very vague with all of the bending character’s elements. Thats bc i heard somewhere that they were making a korra sequel so i didnt want this fanfic to have to compete with canon stuff. Depending on which starting element i decide the avatar has, it will affect the rest of the gang’s elements (the only one without bending is the mc)

3. The main girl (i didnt come up with names yet for anyone) is around 18 and the avatar is 19. Her brother i was thinking is 22 while the outlaw(m) and scientist(f) were both 20

4. I was thinking that the world have SOME steampunk elements to it but a lot of the infrastructure was destroyed with the weather shifts and now its more of a naturey world like in the og

5. The outlaw is called that bc he was one of the people that was punished for the bomb, but he escaped, and now he wants revenge over the real perpetrators

6. The bomb went off when the main girl was 13 and the avatar was 14 (so like 5 years ago)

7. Id think it’d be funny seeing spirits like wan shi tong and koh the face stealer actually have to grapple with mortality and weakness

Bruh. Having ocs is such a double edge sword. Like yeah, im glad that i have fictional characters in my mind that i can obsess over and i can put all of the story tropes i love into it but, WHAT DO YOU MEAN I LITERALLY HAVE TO DO ALL THE HEAVY LIFTING?! WHAT DO YOU MEAN I HAVE TO DRAW THEM AND WRITE THEM AND I CANT SEE FANART OF THEM UNLESS I MAKE IT MYSELF!

Hello 👋. Its been a bit since i last posted on here. These are two characters from my current hyperfixation story, Dale and Lily. I’ll be posting more about them later down the line but for now, i hope you like the artwork 😄

Wanna know whats even more fucked. For years, literally all these cis heteros preached about how “sex is bad and unholy” to the point of demonization but now that the youth are embodying what they taught but not in the way they wanted, its all of a sudden “antisocial narcissism”.

Not experiencing romantic or sexual attraction apparently equals "antisocial narcissism," lmao. Apparently not wanting to fuck everyone is now a hate crime?

Also take note of the "taught to children" bullshit, I would bet $100 that this is a person who also demonizes the rest of the LGBTQ+ community for being "groomers." Which doesn't even make sense in this context (not that it ever makes sense, mind you) because aroace people are all about not wanting romance and/or sex, and Jaiden's entire video is about her journey of self-discovery and figuring out that she doesn't want a romantic/sexual relationship with anyone?

This is just a great example of how aro/ace people are demonized. Whereas other queer people are demonized and dehumanized for being "sexually deviant" and having their sexual/romantic preferences treated with disgust (if they're not outright treated as evil), aro/ace people are demonized and dehumanized by treating us as if we're missing something fundamentally human. Like we're mentally ill and broken for not experiencing sexual and/or romantic attraction (preferably of the heterosexual sort). It all ties back to an effort to control people's sexualities because to these people the only "acceptable" way to live is in a cis hetero relationship that produces kids.
