These two are such freaks about each other.

They are incredibly entrenched in Queer History and the reason those Queerphobic comic rules where put into place in the first place. Their relationship was that gay.

Even now in modern time while they try to push the idea of Dick being Bruce's son they can't even get that right by having Dick behavior to Damian (Bruce's bio son) be parental.

And they just get each other. The original Dynamic Duo. Bruce asked for Dick with 0 other qualifications and Dick's just like "oh so you can test it and make sure I'm healthy" like is a totally normal thing to ask for.

i don't think it's possible to not find nightwing of DC comics incredibly attractive so i very painstakingly crafted an elaborate poll to test my theory (photo below for reference)
