“Hey, Zoro! If I were a fruit, what fruit do you think I’d be?!”
Zoro who lays somewhere on the upper deck of the Sunny, hands behind him cushioning his head, doesn’t stir from what was a nap cut short by your jubilant voice flooding his eardrums. And still doesn’t when he hears your feet padding closer towards him.
However, your question does earn a barely audible hum in response. And he swears to himself if you weren’t you—the essence of his heart and soul— his reaction to being torn from his nap, would have been anything less than lenient.
Momentarily, a light thud resounds beside him and he feels a soft touch caressing his cheek.
The familiar and soothing feeling coaxes him to crack an eyelid open, head craning to his side to meet your expression brimming down at him with a radiant wide smile.
The perpetual frown carved into  Zoro’s features eases into one of unadulterated adoration— one that would be indiscernible to the eyes of any other, but your own.
He then arches a brow, confused. “Why would you want to be a fruit?”
The unforeseen question is one he didn’t expect you to ask, but seemed more like one Lu—
“Because Luffy—”
Of course.
“—told me if I were a fruit, I’d be a potato—mashed potatoes.”
Zoro's face mirrors amusement. “That’s a vegetable. And a dish.”
“Exactly!”
A bubble of laughter leaves your lips, one that tugs at Zoro’s heart and cajoles the corners of his mouth into a tender smile as you recline back until you’re mimicking his supine position.
“I also asked Usopp and Chopper for their opinions.”
“What’d they say?” Zoro asked, interest piqued.
“That I remind them of a mango and a banana.”
Zoro's face scrunches, brows furrowing at the comparisons. But soon, his expression relaxes when he gives it some deliberate thought. And  hums, silently approving his friends’ responses.
You indeed had a personality reminiscent of the two fruits: soft and sweet, both on the outside and on the inside.
"And the others?"
You turn to lie on your side, facing Zoro. "They seemed pretty occupied with more important things.” You give Zoro a pointed look, a teasing lilt laced in your voice. "So, I didn't ask."
Zoro huffs at the implication, feigning annoyance. “You already got some answers,” he starts, “Why ask me?”
“Because, I always like hearing what you think,” you respond without missing a beat.
Zoro’s brown gaze meets your own. And he finds it warm like the smile adorning your expression.
A subtle heat rises to his cheeks and he averts his gaze, directing it instead up at the clouds gliding across the sky.
You, his lover, as a fruit?
The thought had never once crossed the swordsman's mind. And was one beyond his imagination.
Not to say, he didn’t mind entertaining you. If it’d make you happy, he would be more than willing to compare you to a fruit. Even a vegetable, like Luffy, if you’d asked.
A comfortable silence descends between you and Zoro while he takes the time to ponder your question, and as he does you search for any recognizable images hidden within the vast white fluff of the clouds.
Zoro thinks and he thinks. And firstly he thinks the image of a pineapple. Like the ones Sanji had used that one time to whip up some refreshments for everyone to temper the sweltering heat of the sun, reminding him of a warm, vibrant sunshine—just like you.
But its spiky shell,  not so much.
So, he thinks again.
And this time he thinks peaches. Round and supple. A most welcomed reminder of all the times you shared fervent kisses behind closed doors and the palms of his calloused, large hands would caress the soft plumpness of your a—
Zoro shakes the creeping temptation away.
And thinks again.
And, this time, it clicks. A suitable answer to your question—one he deems most so—reveals itself.
“Plum.”
You perk up at the sound of Zoro’s voice, eyes now pin on him. “Plum?” you parrot, raising an inquisitive brow. “Why a plum?”
“I dunno…” Zoro mumbles. “I guess, because they’re soft on the outside and juicy on the inside. And…” he trails off.
“And what?” You prompt.
A faint red hue tinges Zoro’s cheeks. “And…they’re cute and sweet—just like you.”
Your heart flutters, lips curling up into the widest smile he's ever seen spread across your lips—second to when he'd first whispered his unconditional love for you.
“You really think so?” Zoro nods and your smile brightens impossibly further. “I’m so happy you think I’m a plum!” You beam, shuffling closer to him and pressing a kiss to his lips. And Zoro thinks he should start calling you his little plum from now on.
“I was definitely right about you,” you chirp, unintentionally pulling away just as Zoro is about to deepen the kiss.
He frowns, disappointed by the lost contact of your lips against his, but his disappointment immediately fades away when you drape an arm and leg across him, soft body cuddling into his.
His arms wrap around you, tugging you closer to his larger frame in a gentle and protective embrace.  He glances down at you. “Right about what?”
You chuckle. “That you’d be a pineapple if you were a fruit,” you say, recalling Usopp’s question to you.
Confusion mars Zoro’s expression, and at the same time he wonders what led you to that conclusion. “A pineapple? Why?” He voices his thoughts.
You smile a wide smile up at him. “Because,” you drawl, “On the outside, you seem a bit mean and scary. Like a big bad guy.”
Zoro flinches.
Your answer…is not quite what he'd expected. And doesn’t sit right with him. At all.
Was that your impression of him when you two first met? Mean?Scary?
A big bad guy?
Zoro flushes, parting his lips to voice his concern. But, when he hears your next few words, his lips remain sealed as his entire face steams.
“But you’re really sweet on the inside,” you say, voice soft and soothing to Zoro's ears. “Just like I always knew you were," you add as you allow your eyes to flutter close, relaxing further into his comforting warmth. And Zoro only hopes you can’t hear the increasing thudding of his heart against his chest.

Ever since I watched the first season of bridgerton I couldn’t help but think that, in my opinion, Ace would most likely pull a Simon
Wanting his father’s line to die with him because why would he course a child with the same pain that has haunted him forever?

What if Luffy and reader got out of Marineford with Ace?
Ace x reader
2.1k words, gn reader, SFW fluffy at the end
Depictions of war and injuries, happy ending!!! Idc idc, the most plot accurate thing I’ve ever written I guess if you haven’t catched up to marineford then don’t read, or do ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ I ain’t the boss of ya’
War
It had creeped up on you like a nightmare from which you cannot wake up, your heart thrumming in your chest as you repeat to yourself that nothing’s real, that it’ll past— But it doesn’t
You still remember how you got here, the fear after seeing Ace stomping out the deck just about to jump to his striker as he argued with your dad because you knew there was not stopping him, yet you plead
“Don’t do it” now you stood between his sizzling anger and the edge of the ship, arms immediately grabbing his as a cry for help
“I have to do this, you know I do… I can’t let that bastard step on my dad’s name” as you looked right into his gaze you could just feel there was something else, something he was trying to prove not to your dad, not to the crew or you but to himself— Like he had to be of use to deserve his place
“Then I’m going with you” never in your life you had spoken with such conviction; you run to the side of the deck to gather a backpack and quickly tossing some food that was left laying around before everyone had stopped to convince your stubborn lover and failed miserably
“NO!” in all your time with Ace you had never heard him raise his voice at you, but you gave it no mind, quickly scrabbling anything useful for the journey at your arms reach
“Yes” everyone stood frozen knowing better than to speak up, you and Ace were so painfully similar, stubbornness one of the qualities on that list
“I have to do this myself, I want you here where you’re safe” he tried to quickly reach for the backpack now all full and packed but to not avail since you were quicker to toss it on your shoulders and walked straight to his striker
“I can handle myself just fine. I am going because I want to, I am making that decision,”- the silence that followed your statement was seasoned with desperation from the man that was onto your toes -“If you think I’m letting you go by yourself you’re out of your mind Portgas”
His last name leaving your lips had him groaning, a warning to not question you since you had in fact already made your mind and there was not changing it— so stubborn
So you followed him, through the hot desserts of Alabasta, dangerous Marine base’s and infested seas; you would’ve followed him to the end of the world
Maybe that’s were you find yourself now— the love of your life chained about to be executed like his death had something to proof; his blood not one he choose but now being punished for it, the world had failed him even before he was born and it pains you that you didn’t know, that he didn’t tell you about all the self doubt, insecurities and regrets that blinded him, a lot of things now making sense as you recall some of his behavior even before you began to build your relationship— his search for a life worth living that now you and him wonder if he’ll ever get to taste. But you don’t hold it against him, how could you?
By your side stands his brother, a pirate you had met in your lovers journey that had doomed yourselves, a bright and brave pirate that now gives his life away for his big brother, even if there’s no more he can give he does. And you? The pain that aches your heart also aches your bones, one more hit and you’ll probably be gone but you don’t care, as Ace’s voice rattles trough the dead and screams of pain it gives you all the energy and all the will to continue
“Why is it now that my brother, my dad, the love of my life and my crew fight for me, is that I find myself wanting to live?”
His words are drowned by his tears and your own but you feel them to the core, clenching your fists as you make your way through the war unfolding. Marines, pirates and family all fight for the future, you? You just want Ace to live, then you’ll give yourself the luxury of thinking about the future— A future where he is in
You scream his name at the top of your lungs making his head jolt up looking for you from high above, even though a battle cry, your voice soothes him but it also terrifies him. He fears for your life, and if you may want to keep him in it now that you know his biggest secret— what do you think of him now?
His fears quickly fade as you scream once more
“YOU HAVE TO LIVE ACE”
He doesn’t deserve you- he thinks. You had stood by him through thick and thin. even now you could turn away from this war and start anew, yet you fight for him, body scarred, bullets and punches flying above your head but your eyes look for his, your voice chooses to call for his name and reassure him even amongst the chaos— He feels your love as it expands through his tired form, combusting
“I LOVE YOU ACE, WE ALL DO, THAT’S WHY YOU HAVE TO LIVE BECAUSE YOURE WORTH IT”
Luffy glances back at you, the widest smile you’ve ever seen painted on his features, he calls your name while one of his hands holds your shoulder in a tight grip as if trying to keep you on the here and now “We are getting Ace out of here I promise”
That is the last thing you hear before everything becomes a blur, but you hold the promise close because you know it was made with a honest and pure heart. The Marines desperate to win the war and execute your lover pounce over you like a wild animal thirsty for what they call justice, but this is just a masacre. You hold onto the idea that this may pass too, like everything does
Somehow you pull trough, how? You still can’t comprehend, probably out of your resilience alone. Helping Luffy up to uncuff Ace’s restraints knowing he’s the only one capable enough to set him free, and he lives up to his name shocking everyone as both brothers decent making the war hold its breath.
That’s when Ace finally can really see you, your face clear and your presence heavy in his heart— it’s like the first time he ever saw you, love is the only thing stirring around his stomach even in the middle of his own demise as you stand in front of him, there’s nothing more he wants than to kiss you senseless right now, cry as you hold him tight grateful you’re here
But this is not over
It might never be
Your feet move at the speed of light, Ace’s hand wrapped around yours in the tightest grip as if grounding him, while also keeping you safe and sound. You must’ve been thrilled, the love of your life free and by your side now, yet, this cruel world seemed to just hate him- forever cursed by the blood running through his veins
It dawns on you very quickly how getting out of this hell wouldn’t be easy, that you will have to leave people behind just to be free, and it pains you both to have to turn your backs on your captain, your dad. You see the distress trough Ace’s face as he escapes, his heart thrumming louder and louder but apparently not loud enough as he catches the voice of Akainu- one of the Marines admiral’s calling his dad weak, even as he dies for you all
He stops, so do you and as you turn to look for his gaze you catch that same glint that was the reason of this nightmare. Ace was angry, it bubbles on his being like it has done so many times before and you know there’s not changing the course of this— you feel hopeless
You stand terrified in the presence of the admiral, a ruthless man that kills in the name of justice but he’s no different to even the most evil criminals he has wiped from the seas. You are not a believer in any means, but you find yourself prying to anyone above that you’re not next on his list
Ace bites back, Akainu lures him as he continues to spit venom on the ones he loves, the symbol tattooed on Ace’s back nothing but reminding you of how far he can go- and he will now
Because he would never turn his back on the people he loves
It all happened so fast yet so slow; your lover hits the ground, red crimson puddle staining the hard floor as you panic. You turn to all directions as if looking for an answer, a miracle that would get you out of here alive
Then you see it, bright and burning at the heat of the sun— Akainu’s punch flies as it tries to burn Luffy like icarus.
The rubber boy that had flew too close to the sun trying to protect the person he loves most
It’s selfish really, the way you’re only thinking about how to get yourself out of this. You want to run away from the war harmless, untouched; alongside the ones you love standing by your side with a future to think about the next morning. It fuels you; all the grief, pain and anger rises and you don’t know how or why— maybe it was the entity up above that heard your desperate pleas and pulled on the strings of destiny
But… You punch Ace
You punch him harder than you have ever punched before, launching both of your hurt bodies to the other side of the battlefield. Akainu’s fist wavers, enough to miss his actual target, his little brother who holds Ace’s life between his fingertips while it sets alight once again
Everything stills, even as you hit the floor hard, you must’ve passed out after all this torturous time fighting, but you hold onto the little sanity and energy you can
Ace is looking at you incredulous— a million emotions tug at him as he looks back between you and his brother. Is he relieved? Angry? Scared?. For a moment his strong morals crumble as his gaze meets yours; you’re tired, so so tired yet hopeful as you plead for him to change his ways eve if it is for just this once, because you’re a selfish bastard
You can’t really make up what he’s saying to you now, you don’t really care as you use all in you to muster
“You must live Ace”
Your body shuts down, limp crashing on Ace’s naked top half as he holds you desperately, both of you may still lay on the battlefield but you feel safe because you know he’ll listen to you— you know he’ll live
And he would never let you down
It’s cold, you can make out a continuous beep that follows the rhythm of your slow heartbeat. You try to adjust the uncomfortable position in which you lay on your back, but your body doesn’t respond not even your eyelids as you beg them to show you where you are— Were you dead? Safe? At the bottom of the sea?
Air slowly enters your lungs, allowing your tired body to settle, you open your eyes a little hesitant now, a gray metal ceiling greets you
Another breath gives you the courage to move, you don’t recognize any of the coroners that your eyes land on, the bed creeks making the cowboy hat by your bed that was still in the corner of your eye jolt up
There they were, those eyes you adored more than anything… and that you thought you’ll never see again. They are different now, puddled with grief yet softer
It was reliving how after your ears had ringed for so long, to listen to your name spoken so softly, so lovingly
“You’re here” Ace can’t even bring himself to touch you, afraid you may shatter and there was just so much he wanted to say, to do, yet he only thanks you
He sobs now, allowing his walls to fall right at your feet because who else could’ve done it if not you
Your scarred hands cup his freckled face tenderly “Ace… you lived”
What a silly thing to say, of course he lived
Why wouldn’t he live?
Masterlist
I just finished Marineford and omg I just had this looping in my mind, Ace is my favorite character I see a lot of myself in him. This was written in 3 sittings so I may consider writing a corrected/longer version of it if people are interested because I am a huge nerd and love writing takes on arcs and stuff. Anyway Portgas D Ace you would always be famous

+ gn!reader. no warnings, just law having a crush on u. this is full fluff + vvv self-indulgent. not proofread. 2k wc. posting again bcos it won't show up in the tags. </3
Tumblr media
the road to dressrosa has been nothing but turbulent. in the thousand sunny, law has found himself quite in a pinch, that being the vigor of the straw hats stands unmatched against his own. he’s not deciphered yet if the crew’s bubbling energy originates from the thrill of upcoming battle or simply an innate nature he will get never used to.
nonetheless, peace and quiet aren’t lost in the jovial ship. tranquility crawls once the moon has settled above the clouds and the stars are sprinkled across the vast skies.
no sea kings in sight, no storm to hinder the peaceful night, and certainly no straw hats to shatter his solitude; it’s just him and the peace he seeks.
but not tonight, it seems.
law rarely climbs the front deck, preferring the lawn deck instead to easily access the men’s quarters. on this fateful night, however, his feet move toward that part of the ship, only for them to falter upon the sight which greeted him.
you’re sitting behind the masthead, a lamp beside you, and a book on your lap.
law’s initial instinct is to pivot and leave you be, but the sudden tilt of your head causes your eyes to meet. a shock went down his spine; you’re bathed in moonlight, your eyes aglow with the nearest fire.
“trafalgar,” the syllables have come out almost breathless, courtesy of your surprise at an unprecedented interruption.
trafalgar.
trafalgar.
trafalgar.
oh, he’s doomed, isn’t he?
“i… i didn’t know you were here,” he says, almost tripping over his words. “i apologize for the interruption. i’ll go now.”
closing the book with a soft thump, you laugh.
you laugh. and if it’s not the most melodious sound to have ever graced his ears, what is?
“no need to be serious. i was just preparing to leave,” is your explanation, picking up your feet. “why are you still awake?”
“unwinding,” is his laconic response. what a fool he’d been, opting for a brief and indifferent answer. he cannot even trust himself to form a coherent sentence without the gripping fear of stuttering.
“i see. it’s a perfect night to do just that.” you tilt your head up with a smile, bathing your face with the moonlight. “the moon is beautiful, isn’t it?”
“it is,” he answers softly, but try as he might, he cannot peel his eyes away from you.
“and i guess this is the only time you can be at peace without us being all over you.”
law launches a quick retort, “no, it’s not like that—”
another laugh. the same merry timber. the same angelic tune. you look like a beautiful specter in the distance; a silhouette in silver shaped by the moon’s caress.
“it’s okay. i know we can be riotous most of the time, but i do hope you’re enjoying your stay.”
words betray him. law has been received with the enthusiasm of an old friend, but it is his own disposition that a gap exists between him and the straw hats.
“have a good night, trafalgar,” you whisper, walking past him with the book clutched to your chest.
“you, too,” he murmurs in response, his eyes straying to the embossed title of the hard bound book.
his lungs have been stuffed with tension; he has to grip the taffrail for support. only when the door to the quarters has been shut does he fully allow himself to breathe in the balmy air.
since when did it become like this?
he has a goal to accomplish and that does not include friendship with a rival pirate group. this alliance is founded for the sake of his long-standing plan to destroy doflamingo and the rest of his family.
so, when? when did his eyes begin searching for your frame in the cacophonous thousand sunny? and how many times have he tried to strike up a conversation only to hesitate and pull back? because gods— he suffocates in your presence.
similar to everybody else, you harbor a peculiarity befitting a crew of the straw hats pirate. the only difference law has observed is your penchant to be alone with your books.
your similarities with nico robin ends whenever sanji injects himself between you and your reading. the man stands against your preference for books over meal time.
with this observation, law’s curiosity transforms into the likeness of the bottomless sea. he aches to drown in your fascination toward these tomes. he desires to reach the uncharted territory that leads to you.
this need is akin to a tempestuous current, and no sound judgment can prevent him from jumping headfirst to the whirlpool.
in the ship’s library, he observes the silence before running his fingers down the spine of your book, grateful that it’s there for him to fetch.
without making any noise, he closes the door behind him.
it’s going to be a long night.
“oh? torao? you’re early today,” sanji points out, the tendrils of smoke from his cigarette fading with the thick fog.
careful not to mess up your bookmark, law closes the book with finality. he stretches his neck, feeling his tendons come alive after hunching for hours.
he stands up, deliberately hiding the book from sanji. he’d rather jump into the cold, unforgiving water before allowing the cook to see and pry him open as to why he’s holding something of your possession.
“what do you want for breakfast?” sanji’s voice trails behind him.
despite the crisp air, law begins to perspire. he can feel sanji’s eyes digging holes in his back.
“i don’t like bread,” he says as he steps inside the interior of the sunny, pinning his forehead to the back of the door and blowing out cool air.
“good morning, torao!”
“what the fuck—!”
“eh? didn’t think you were so jumpy,” chopper comments while rubbing his eye.
blinking and clearing his throat, law straightens, letting his hand fall from holding his chest in surprise. “i’m not.”
good heavens! where did he even come from? the way to the men’s quarters is on the other side of the ship!
“what’s that you’re holding? a book?” chopper tiptoes toward his direction, his newfound energy chasing the last bits of sleep away.
“none of your business,” law retorts, fighting the urge to shove the book inside his shirt.
“eeeeh? lemme see! is that a medical book?” chopper insists, his hands waving in the air.
“no.”
law begins to walk away, ignoring chopper’s insistence. murmuring a sharp curse, his knuckles went white around the book’s spine. if one more straw hat sees him, he’d finally go berserk.
that seems more logical than admitting he stayed up all night just to finish this 500-paged book, hoping that he gathers the courage to finally talk to you about something worthwhile.
law believes that luck is on his side tonight.
after his futile attempts at conversing with you, the day of agony finally meets its conclusion. even the weather seems to boost his morale, as nami declared an hour ago that the pleasant air will most likely stretch out throughout the night.
aside from all that, he’s observed that you’re almost finished with the novel. he merely needs to stay put and wait for you to descend from the deck. it would’ve been annoying if he’s to make the same mistake of disturbing your peaceful perusal.
and thus the wait began, with his elbows resting on the taffrail while the sea danced in his eyes.
this is so stupid, law thinks to himself. who makes this effort just to exchange a word or two with somebody? but law knows that anything from you will suffice.
“oh, trafalgar. it’s you again.”
law masks the mixture of emotions before moving his head to look at you. “i hope you’re not disappointed,” he jokes— and he never jokes.
“not in the least,” you say with a chuckle, “i was actually expecting to see you again tonight.“
“you did?” why does he feel like melting?
“yup. you seem to love the night sky. or perhaps you’re thinking about the upcoming fight?”
no, he doesn’t think of anything else when you’re near.
“i’m actually thinking of that book you’re holding,” he finally says, mentally tapping his own back for the sprout of mettle.
you sport a look of surprise, raising the book and blinking at him. “this? don’t tell me you’ve read this already?”
“i have.”
“oh! isn’t this the most wonderful novel ever? what did you think of it?! tell me everything!”
he refuses to say it, let alone admit that this is happening to him, but when you burst into excitement and lean closer to his face, law feels as if his ribs will crumble from his erratic heartbeat.
he’s quick to look away, hiding the heat on his cheeks by tilting his cap downward.
“w… well, i really like the plot,” he begins, “most people would never experience the kind of love that the characters possessed for each other.”
yes. the book is a damn romance novel. he is so acquainted with books containing illustrations of human anatomy that to a certain extent, it’s jarring to have finished a novel without one.
“it’s just so intense, don’t you think? not even death can sever their bond. they say that to love is to live, but do you believe that love persists even in death?”
in that moment, he conceded. how do you do it? he wonders. how do you keep that glow in your face even in darkness?
“yes, i do believe so,” he murmurs. “aside from that, i appreciate how nuanced the novel is. beyond the portrayal of love, the acceptance of self and the embracing of vengeance are both finely expressed by the author.”
“vengeance, huh?” you suspire. “something tells me that you’re well-acquainted with it.“
silence slithers its way between you, until it stretches around the air, sparing only the ceaseless sound of the tides.
“very much acquainted to forget it now,” law responds, sotto-voce.
“just… don’t die, trafalgar.”
in the grandline, the sea is etched with thousands of possibility. some men made a legacy, while lots of them met their demise in the sea’s unpredictable eddy. and if he falls into the latter demographic, law has vowed to take doflamingo with him.
he’s beyond the fear of death.
but now, in the middle of nowhere, with those unwavering eyes looking at him with hope, he wants to imagine a different reality.
“chopper? where are you taking that blanket?” you probe.
it’s almost daylight, and the foggy weather will soon be exchanged for dressrosa’s climate. nami predicts that the island is not far off now. you shiver at the thought of your arrival, clutching only to the hope that everyone will survive the warlord, donquixote doflamingo.
“torao’s sleeping outside and he seems cold,” chopper answers. “i’m here to bring him a blanket.”
your eyebrow cocks, steps becoming eager. he slept outside? in this weather? you follow chopper to the ship’s front deck, where trafalgar sleeps soundly on his side… with stacks of book beside him.
chopper lays the thick blanket over law’s unmoving frame, before he kneels and reaches for a book from the pile.
“eh? these are your books!” chopper half-squeaks, half-whispered.
you kneel beside him, eyeing the hard bounds, eyebrows knit together at their familiarity.
“yes, they are.”
“looks like he stayed up all night reading all of them,” chopper adds.
from the state he’s currently in, you wouldn’t doubt the chance. he looks peaceful, snoring softly, without any care in the world around him.
“i wonder why…” you murmur.
“well… i know why!” nami pops up. she’s leaning towards the three of you, a mischievous grin on her face. “there’s only one reason he’d do this, y’know?”
“oh? tell us, nami!” chopper demands enthusiastically. “tell us! tells us!”
nami shapes her fingers to that of the money sign. “that’ll be 100,000 berries. secrets are not free!”
chopper continues to probe nami for answers, while you sit and laugh at the both of them. little did you know, there’s a certain man sweating bullets on the ship’s deck, fervently wishing that nobody is willing enough to part with a hundred thousand be—
“alright, nami. tell me and i’ll pay,” you say.

The rubber boy that had flew too close to the sun trying to protect the person he loves most
And of course Ace is rushing to protect him
It’s selfish really, the way you’re only thinking about how to get yourself out of this.

I just finished marineford and I just have one thing to say
Ace won
His death not being tied to Gol D Roger’s name, rather dying while defending his family AND dying with a smile on his face
That, was the biggest fuck you to the marines, the world government and just everyone
He won
