sooo i’ve been playing some pjsk lately and mafuyu reminded me a little bit of ken (symbolic no light in eyes besties) so i decided to draw them together (kind of)!!!

digiweek 2022, day 7: graduation (free day)!

ok this is gonna be a bit of a Post

today i wanted to draw something super like. emotional but i was really tired from yesterday

BUT i watched some of digimon adventure today w my friend artie ( @automailz ) and we started a whiteboard for silly doodles :) here r some of the highlights

all of my work is the blue and artie’s is the purple!

and now for the silly sappy part

digimon honestly played a bigger part in my life than i realized until like. last year? my parents got divorced around the time i started watching digimon with my little brother, and seeing matt/yamato and tk in the show made me feel like not better about it but definitely helped me deal with it. it helped make it feel more normal to me. going back and watching 02 had a huge impact on me, seeing ken and hikari go through similar mental health issues to what i deal with was such an experience tbh

as a whole it’s made me want to do art more. digimon’s creativity in the designs of the characters has inspired me to keep pushing myself in my art and character design and to just have fun.

i’m bonding a lot more with my brother now over it!!we play the card game and go to events and meet really awesome people

i love digimon adventure and this silly little franchise and i’m so glad that baby etke ran into digimon adventure on netflix.

digiweek 2022, day 6: exam (challenge)!

today i decided to challenge myself by drawing something big, complicated and metal! because i never do that !

combining my love of the royal knights with this, i did a random name picker and ended up being prompted to draw craniamon!

he’s so fun and i love his character design. i got his card recently so !! yeah :)

i’ve always wanted to do a lil crossover where hiro meets the other main guys!! today was a bit crazy so it isn’t the best quality but it was good practice in drawing shoes lmao

love angst so bad !! this was so so so fun i got to play w fancy effects

this scene really hit when i rewatched it recently. watching ken’s character arc now versus when i was younger is really rough and interesting, and his and daisuke’s relationship throughout the series is everything to me dude

i made a bonus drawing because i wasn’t entirely satisfied with the first one at first! trigger warning for blood.

i am opening up art commissions to raise some money for my freshman year of college as well as to have some money while i work on getting a job. i will have three slots open at first just so i'm able to pace myself and keep track of things!

i draw mostly fantasy and sci-fi cartoon characters. i do a lot of digimon fanart along with other things that i get interested in.
