15 Awesomest Boybands of All Time
I was watching E!âs 15 Awesomest Boybands special the other day and I found myself not agreeing at all. For some reason the list seemed so wrong because a lot of new and incredibly old boybands got too much attention, however, some of those who totally rocked the 90s and early 20th century didnât even make it to the list! And for me boybands are all about the 90s!! So instead of getting annoyed whenever I remember it, I made my own list. I poured my heart and soul into this because Iâm probably the biggest boyband lover of all time lol
BTW, this is not a general list. This is a mix of my current favorites, past favorites, all time favorites, and bands whom I think deserve to be on the list and not based on their success (meaning BSB wonât be #1 haha). So anyway, here it is:
 15. New Kids On the Block (1984 - 1994)
Iâm including them in the list out of respect, since they were one of the first boybands ever. Iâve never really been a fan, but I really thank them for existing, because all the other boybands followed after them. Haha.
 14. Take That (1989 â 1996)
Take That sort of started this whole British boyband craze. It never really stopped since they were formed. And letâs not forget, Robbie Williams was a member of this band! But again, I wasnât a big fan since I was like a year old, or maybe not even born yet when they rose to fame.
 13. 911 (1995 â 2000; reunited in 2012 for Britainâs the Big Reunion)
Ok, I liked this boyband for like⊠a month I think. Or less. I never really had any of their albums because I only liked them coz I had the biggest crush on Lee Brennan. But they really have a lot of catchy tunes like âHow Do You Want Me to Love Youâ, âMore Than a Woman,â and âLove Sensation.â But Iâm including them in this list since they were the first ever boyband I ever liked, and thatâs sort of a big deal. For me at least. Haha.
 12. Boys ll Men (1988 â present time)
I was never a fan of Boys ll Men, but I really have a huge amount of respect for them because theyâre still together, and in fact touring, up to now! And because of that they deserve to be on my list.
 11. The Moffats (1990 â 2001; Reunited in 2012)
I donât think anyone who grew up in the 90s could say that they donât know âMiss You Like Crazy.â The Moffats were part of my 90s life, though I was never really a big fan. But they were one of the biggest boybands during my time, and theyâre not British, Irish, or American â theyâre Canadian. So thatâs something new. Lol.
 10. One Direction (2010 â present)
Ok you may be wondering why One Direction is only #10 in my list. Letâs get the record straight. Iâm a massive fan, I have all their albums, I buy all their singles, but Iâm a 90s and early 20th century girl. I grew up listening to boybands from that generation. If I were like, 16 or something, then maybe they would take the #1 spot. I love One Direction more than half of the boybands I mentioned here, but if weâre talking about âboybandsâ, then the newbies shouldnât top the list. Itâs all about the ones who were famous during the time boybands when were the biggest thing on earth. Iâm saying this because I donât want to be attacked by a bunch of crazy screaming 16 year olds. HAHA.
 9. Jonas Brothers (2005 â present)
Ok I absolutely love these guys. Iâve been to their concert here in Manila last year, and it was incredible. But the reason why theyâre only number 9 is the same reason I gave for One Direction only being number 10. But anyway, I think these guys are really amazing and talented and they donât deserve all the hate theyâre getting. They write really good and catchy songs, and theyâre just incredible to watch live!! And Nick Jonas is an absolute cutie ;)
 8. 98 Degrees (1996â2005, 2012-present)
You canât possibly be a 90s kid without knowing âBecause of Youâ or âInvisible Man.â Though I was never crazy for them, I was definitely a fan. I remember everyone liked Nick Lachey, but Iâve always liked his brother Drew better. Haha.
  7. Hansons (1992 â present)
MmBop might as well be the official anthem of the 90s. They were definitely one of the most remarkable boybands of my generation, and Iâm really glad theyâre still together now! Everyone liked Taylor but Zach was definitely my favorite Hanson. I thought it was adorable that he was playing the drums at such a young age.
 6. Boyzone (1993 â 2000, 2008 â present)
Though Boyzone wasnât the first boyband I liked, they were the first boyband I absolutely loved. I was 8 years old when they became famous in Asia, and I remember their album âWhere We Belongâ was the very first cassette tape I ever owned. I think this was the time I officially became a fan of boybands. I had a huuuge crush on Ronan Keating, I even bought his solo album after they disbanded. I also liked Stephen Gately a lot, and I was really shocked and absolutely saddened by the news of his death 4 years ago.
 5. Westlife (1998 â 2012)
Westlife was the next boyband I loved after Boyzone. I had all their albums and was absolutely inlove with Shane Filan. Theyâre also one of the biggest selling boybands of all time, especially in Ireland and the UK. And theyâve been together for a really long time. I really admire longevity when it comes to these boybands because some of them donât really last that long.
 4. Backstreet Boys (1993 â present)
Okay I tried to be fair from #15 - #5, but now itâs time to follow my heart. Haha. I absolutely love the Backstreet Boys. After all, they have their own star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame, and they were named the biggest boyband of all time. I wonât argue with that, because they deserve it. However, in my heart, theyâre not #1. But anyway, I think this boyband represents the 90s. The 90s wouldnât be the 90s if it werenât for BSB. Absolutely love their songs, and yes, I was one of those girls who had a crush on Nick Carter, but vocally I think Brian and AJ were the best.
  3. NâSYNC (1995 â 2002)
Okay I donât think words can even describe how much I love NSYNC. Back in the 90s, Iâve never loved any boyband as much as Iâve loved them. I bought every single album, VCD/DVD, and I even had their hard-bound books. Actually most of the NSYNC stuff I had were gifts from my dad! I loved every single one of their songs, and actually knew ALL the words to ALL songs. Probably until now. One of the reasons why I love them so much is because I was in-love with Lance Bass. I was 11 years old and I seriously believed I was gonna marry him one day. I even had a Lance doll. LOL. Itâs a good thing I finally moved on before I even found out he was gay or I would have been so devastated! They used to be my number one favorite, but thereâs a reason why theyâre demoted to number 3. They donât really love or even like each other as much as their fans love them. Until now Iâm bitter towards JT for leaving the band, but of course I totally love him and his music no matter what. And for some reason, I donât think they will every reunite. Sad truth. HUHU.
 2. 5ive (1997 â 2001; 2006 â 2007; 2012 to present)
Thanks to Britainâs The Big Reunion, 5ive all of a sudden jumped to #2 on my list. Iâve loved 5ive ever since they were formed back in 1997. I remember watching MTV all day waiting for them to show âWhen the Lights Go Outâ and âSlam Dunk Da Funk.â However, I was never a huge fan. I only thought their songs were cool and that Abz Breen and Ritchie Neville were cute. Haha. I only became a reaaalllyyy biiig fan 13 years later, when they reunited for the reality show, The Big Reunion. However, thereâs only 4 of them now since J Brown decided not to join them anymore for the reunion, which makes their name really ironic now. But Iâm so thankful to the Big Reunion for reminding me why 5ive is such an amazing boyband! In my opinion, they were like the NSYNC of the UK back then since they had really impressive dance moves. Now I absolutely love them and I feel like a kid again. Iâm really glad that my #2 and #1, which you will read about next, were together in the Big Reunion and in fact, very good friends already!
 1.Blue (2000 â 2005; 2009; 2011 â present)
There are many many reasons why theyâre my #1 favorite boyband of all time. Aside from the fact that they were one of the most successful and famous boybands around the world, theyâre the only boyband on earth that I liked since the very moment I heard their song and laid eyes on them (specifically Lee Ryan, haha). So Iâve been a fan since the beginning of Blue, unlike the other boybands that I ended up liking only after the 2nd or 3rd album was released. Another reason is that theyâre really really strong, vocally. Whenever they harmonize, it feels like heaven. Plus have you heard Lee Ryanâs vocal chops? I donât think thereâs a single boyband member in the world who can sing as good as him. His vocal range is insane. A lot of boybands become really famous coz of their looks, and then their vocals second. But when it comes to Blue you really canât help but notice how good they are vocally. And now that theyâre back with an amazing album thatâs already topping the UK charts, I couldnât be happier. Especially since they didnât have a label and funded for the album themselves, and now itâs doing so well. And last but not the least, I love their relationship as a band. They never had a fall out and they were really tight. You could see how much they love and respect each other.Â
So there you go! This is my official top 15 Awesomest Boybands of all time. Of course, this is my opinion. If you're not happy with it, you are free to make your own list ;) But if you agree with me, then yaaaay let's have a boyband partaaaayyy!

Ted's speeches always make me cry. Siiiigh.
Hi, Iâm Ted Mosby, and exactly 45 days from now, you and I are gonna meet, and weâre gonna fall in love, and weâre gonna get married, and weâre gonna to have two kids, and weâre gonna love them and each other so much. All that is 45 days away. But Iâm here now, I guess, because I want those extra 45 days with you. I want each one of them. If I canât have them, Iâll take the 45 seconds before your boyfriend shows up and punches me in the face, because I love you. Iâm always going to love you. âTil the end of my days and beyond. Youâll see.

Demi Lovato Live in Manila 2013: Soundcheck & Concert
So last March 20, 2013 I was blessed with the opportunity to watch Demi Lovato live in concert since my friend won some tickets! Aside from the fact that we got to watch her concert for free, we also got passes to her exclusive soundcheck party with fans!Â
Demi was so amazing in so many levels. Her voice gave me goosebumps almost the entire time and she's also very beautiful! I was soooo speechless (except when I would go oh my gosh like a million times). I can't believe I finally got to watch one of my MOST favorite vocalists live. She inspires me so much and seeing her perform live was truly a blessing. I can't count how many times I got teary eyed, especially when she sang my favorite songs from her Unbroken album - Lightweight and Fix a Heart.Â
Thank you 99.5 FM for the tickets and thank you Lord for making one of my wildest dreams come true :)
Demi is such an inspiration and I think everyone should get the chance to watch her perform live :)
Btw, these are MY photos so please ask permission before using them for anything and make sure to give credit. Thanks! <3
