So yesterday day I was feeling very emotional, partly still because of orlando... Then I came across some astrology post on FB about the neptune retrograde in pisces bringing "an ocean of emotion" apparently this has started June 13th - two days ago. It seems that anyone with pisces anywhere in their chart or on the cusp but especially in their sun sign is in for a wild ride. If that is your case it is likely that you feel overly emotional, and it may be an invitation to sort out your feelings, what is valid, what is drama, what can be transcended. It's been exactly a year that I have officially left the rat race, closing down my showroom with all the amazing designers we represented. It was a tough decision that had ripened over the past 4 years when i was struck with very sudden health problems. Back then, also June but 2012 I could barely walk, I couldn't take painkillers, and I could not go to work for weeks- i figured it out eventually changing my lifestyle, my diet, but also my priorities. It's been a year now that I have been able to breathe, enjoy life, just working with my most faithful @robertgeller and with people I love @repnyc and @mister_appel building very slowly my other business, and consult on fun projects. A huge thank you to everyone who has been there for me on this journey, friends, family, coworkers, editors, stylists, neighbors, teachers - you all know who you are ❤️ all that being said I'm of course up to something new. Happy weekend! This week was harsh! Energies are out of control stirring up all the remainder of negativity we have within throughout our subconscious being. Life is a whirlwind of emotions and thoughts, we're here to experience it all, but not get caught up in it. Every day has a different energetic signature, we need to adapt to it and persevere, sometimes transcend it. These few days can seem hard as we are in a double crescent moon phase, comparing this energetic signature to a freshly planted seed pushing through the earth. Perseverance is needed, not giving up on our hopes and dreams is key, despite the current circumstances. Finding gratitude and joy in despite of what's going on. As we approach the new moon on Saturday we have the opportunity to let go of any attitudes, beliefs, definitions that don't serve us anymore: According to the energetics in place this month and the next it seems that this time around, this process of letting go is a detailed one: no major fears are being worked on, rather more subconscious limiting beliefs and definitions we give to the themes in our life. The devil is in the detail, let's ask ourselves what beliefs ( very often repressed in the subconscious mind) we have to let go of that hold us back from perseverance in our hopes and dreams? What do we associate with the abstracts like success, love, security, abundance? Are we afraid of being seen/ heard ? Are we too fixated on something, not trusting it will go in the right direction when the time is right? Now is the time to let go. A little exercise to do that: sit straight, ground in to the earth, feel the earth's energy coming through the soles of your feet. Visualize the area in your life that you would like to improve, ask spirit for clues, ask yourself if there are any limiting associations/ past experiences around the "problem area" and trust to be shown either during your meditation or through signs in your daily life over the next few days. Be alert, know that as you are asking these questions the universe will respond. Once you make the subconscious conscious you can let it go by redefining the meaning.
