it's not a seizure- it's what Sideswipe was diagnosed with years ago: Pain Spikes. red is the only bot to have them. they were caused by an injury to his spark that never really healed. and as a result, every other month or so, he feels like he's dying. the more time in between each spike, the worse it gets.

there is no cure.
