i've been watching someone play ffxiv through shb for the first time and i know that obsessing over the who wrote what question is unwise BUT our chats made me notice a bunch of things and gave me a series of brainwaves and now i'm pretty sure i know who did most of the writing for each stretch of the middle chunk of msq. and if i have time on my breaks i wanna explain it so bad bc it's tied into further thoughts abt how each of these writers approaches certain topics and their tendencies in characterization and coming up with plot
