I feel like the marauders fandom is going through a regression or something. It’s like yall have circled all the way back from diversity to Jk Rolling rhetoric. And obviously it’s not all of the fandom but a large majority I’ve noticed is disputing other people’s opinions based on the sole reason that “in canon” or “in the 70s”- first of all there is no “in canon” we know two things about them. The whole reason this fandom even exists is by people going against canon. The whole fandom is based on delusion so it makes absolutely no sense to say “in canon”. If you want to believe that Sirius black wouldn’t paint his nails or wear overtly feminine clothing, go ahead! But you can’t get mad and say “well in canon he would bully someone like that” when someone does believe that. That’s such nonsense. Or pinpointing that on the 70s; Do you know nothing about queer culture? And obviously if someone is making a male character, Sirius being an example, overtly feminine and their partner overtly masculine in a fetishizing way, you can call them out on that. However it’s so unfair to people who simply have a hc to say that their opinion is wrong. When people say “they wouldn’t all be gay so your opinion is wrong” I’m just like you are literally using the rhetoric that Jk Rolling uses?! You know, the author that we collectively banded together to be against because of her harmful ideas?!! This entire fandom is built on going against the author because of the bullshit she spews, so to use her writing as justification for your own opinion is just moronic. I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again, let people like what they like and stop trying to make everyone conform to one idea.

Pandora Lovegood/Rosier: she is a HUGE MARINA fan.(purge the poison is literally about her I swear) she's dragged evan and dorcus to at least 2 of her concerts. She owns every album and got one signed (no one is allowed to touch it), it hanges above her bed. She also likes will wood (barty introduced him to her) her favorite song is Mento mori (the most important thing in the world) (also she really resonates with the future by bo Burnham)

+also she totally does a really freaky song during karaoke *cough-cough bed chem* just to confuse people, and like she does it well too she nows all the lyrics, but what confuses everyone is the fact that the song isn't even on her playlist

Evan Rosier: he feels like a bo Burnham fan. Like barty totally got him tickets to see one of his comedy sketches. (Evan absolutely loved it probably smiled for once when he saw it) his favorites are probably goodbye or shit. His classic karaoke song is He'll of a ride. He knows it to a t, that and oh bo (he totally also stares barty in the eye while he sings it too) and his favorite will wood song (since barty got him hooked) is Chemical overaction/compound fracture or Lapace angel (hurt people hurt people?)

Barty Crouch Jr: he is the reason Pandora and Evan are will wood fans. He knows every song like EVERY SONG. He went to one of his concerts with Evan and Regulus(Regulus was lowkey kinda scared but loved it either way) his favorite will wood songs are as follows suburbia overture, well it's better than the alternative, your body, my temple, and er yes human. He TOTALLY simga at Evan during karaoke with two songs me and my husband (live laugh love mitski) or your body, my temple baby. he also likes the front bottoms I feel idk why but it feels right

Sirius Black & Regulus Black- Ares/Mars because we all saw that lack of love he had for Clariess (just like Walberga) also Regulus is totally Roman and was most definitely betrayed by Sirius when he ran away to the Greeks

Remus Lupin- very basic but Minerva (Roman Athena) it also works because he could be the reason Sirius ran to camp half-blood (also idk how to relate anything back to him being a werewolf help because I think it's important)

Peter Pettigrew- Hermes (no not because of his trickery) but because he has a type of intelligence that hermes kids have

Lily Evans- Tyche (goddess of luck) I think she has this aura that radiates luck or the oracle because she is a muggle born

Mary McDonald- She's a hunter of Artemis. I don't really have an explanation but to me it makes sense or an Aphrodiate kid again no explanation just makes sense

Marlene McKinnon- Nike she just has that hyper energy and sarcasm of a daughter of victory

So she is either a Ceres (demeter) kid because of how hippie I see her, a Pluto kid because people see her and Evan as off-putting, or hear me out a cupid kid. It makes no sense but it does the daughter of the God of love being able to predict your horrible break up an rebound everything she just stares at you is perfect, or she's the oracle (no explanation needed)(you could add the oracle part to any other head cannon)

Evan Rosier- okay evan is either a ceres kid because of how I can see him personally growing large venus fly traps to eat people, I can see him as a pluto kid not only because he's off-putting but also because of his fascination with death and things like that I see the community give him (also he's nico and pandora's hazel), I see him as a cupid kid in the way he tells heartbreak, but I can't see him as an oracle
