A glitch in the first known gex 3 prototype

Alfred wasn’t programed correctly and having the code a regular breakable object so you can basically kill Alfred and steal his fly coin

In the gex 3 February 8th 1999 prototype Alfred has a unused Idle stance and a animation when he tailed whipped but it probably got cut since the model is little bit small and might be too hard for people to see him

So lrg has finally updated the Gex trilogy page but they just removed the year and still has the grammar errors like “but there aren’t isn’t just reruns” and Gex 3 deep cover gecko in” just letting all know the level of effort being put into the Gex Trilogy

The Pre-History Channel from gex 2 and Christmas channel from gex 3 tracks were reused for the ps1 game Walt Disney World Quest: Magical Racing Tour

Since they both Jim Hedges as their lead composer and were developed by crystal dynamics

In gex 3 during the ending where xtra says the line “he showed me his entire collection of Star Trek bloopers” in the German dub it was replaced with the line”he showed his entire collection of science fiction”

It unclear why it was changed but I don’t think it was over copyright

Shared a rumour that gex was going to get a feature flim by DreamWorks and the article saying that the project hasn’t went to production

It probably a pitch that never went through and it isn’t mentioned anywhere else online

In gex 2 has Easter egg of weird song in the toon tv level

Still unknown what triggers it or any information about this egg and also unknown when this was first discovered or documented

News:welp it confirmed Gex Trilogy has been delayed to next year

A German calendar was given away in the February 1999 issue of PlayStation magazine featuring gex on march and other eidos games and includes a gex poster

In 1999 a multicart for the gbc released and sold in shady retails by a unknown company and most of it is undocumented

It had gex 2 on gbc but some reason it was listed under “tail gator”

In ps1 version of gex 2 the option to mute gex was bugged while he did stay silent in normal gameplay except for when entering and existing the level and getting a 1 up or sliver/gold remote which he still say “tail time”

This was later fixed in the N64 version
