Whumpee glanced down at their feet again and shrugged. "I used to fantasise about running away. I knew the people around me wouldn't notice, and I wanted to use that to my advantage, but... I never imagined it happening against my will. I spent so much of my time hoping and praying that I wasn't really that forgettable."

After a few moments, Caretaker extended a hand and placed it on Whumpee's shoulder, giving it a gentle, comforting squeeze as they both stood there. "Not a day went by where I forgot about you."
