My eyes hurt and I need a blindfold for the next few weeks.

One day a scarecrow woke up, picked his brothers and sisters and ran far from the fields of corn. The farmer and his son, bewildered, felt- among the understandable confusion and disbelief, a sense of rejection, that took them both by silent surprise.
