A direct train to Noto from Kansai? Don't hold your breath! JR West has a long history of callously dismissing customer needs. They'll just give us a big fat 'no' and move on.
北陸本線はJR西日本から第3セクターでたあるハピラインふくい・IRいしかわ鉄道・あいの風とやま鉄道・えちごトキめき鉄道にインフラのみならず運行まで経営分離してしまい関西(大阪・京都・兵庫)から石川県の能登半島まで直通特急の運行は現実的ではない。
石川県知事が福井県・富山県・新潟県と共闘してJR西日本の株を買い占めて運行だけをJR西日本にしとけばよかったのに。ヨーロッパ・アメリカだとインフラと運行は別だし
It’s a colossal blunder that the Hokuriku Main Line was split off from JR West and handed over to multiple third-sector operators, including Hapirin Fukui, IR Ishikawa Railway, Ainokaze Toyama Railway, and Echigo Tokimeki Railway, completely severing both infrastructure and operations. As a result, a direct limited express service from Kansai (Osaka, Kyoto, and Hyogo) to Noto Peninsula in Ishikawa Prefecture is now virtually impossible.
The governor of Ishikawa Prefecture should have joined forces with the governors of Fukui, Toyama, and Niigata prefectures to buy up JR West's shares and keep the operation in JR West's hands. In Europe and the United States, infrastructure and operations are separate entities.

南武支線(尻手支線または浜川崎支線)の205系元山手線以外の2編成が郡山へ廃車回送が決定?!
Two 205 series trains on the Nambu Branch Line (Shitte Branch Line or Hamakawasaki Branch Line), excluding the former Yamanote Line trains, have been decided to be transferred to Koriyama for scrapping?!
南武線205系元山手線を残して引退という訳か。
なお元山手線との見分け方はドア窓の大きさで小さい方が元山手線であって大きい方が山手線じゃない編成だったりする。
So, the Nambu Line’s Hamakawasaki Branch Line 205 series, which was formerly used on the Yamanote Line, is being retired, leaving only those that were once on the Yamanote Line.
By the way, the way to distinguish the former Yamanote Line train is by the size of the door windows: the smaller ones belong to the former Yamanote Line, while the larger ones are not from the Yamanote Line.

東海道線電柱衝突事故報告書公表/Publication of the Investigation Report on the Utility Pole Collision Accident on the JR East Tokaido Line
運輸安全委員会が公表したそうで結局保守不備により事故が起こってしまったそうです。
やはりJR北海道と似ている気がする。
