Kitted-Up Rekker

My boy dressed up in his abandoned lands exploration gear! I had a loose idea as to what I wanted his new setup to be when I did the OC-tober challenge last year, so it's only fitting that a year later I take the time to finalize it. However, the TRUE purpose of this piece was it's supporting my commission sheet redesign. You see, I don't like the cluttered mess that is my current comms sheet, so I've been working on a new sheet with far less word soup as well as one drawing redone in the 7 different styles I offer, that way people aren't asking me to differentiate the styles in my DMs. That'll be uploaded later today on my FurAffinity page. Makin' my way to Noctfurnal

Lil promo piece I did for my X, Mastodon, and Bluesky feeds last week when I was getting prepared for Noctfurnal. I was called up by Raven, the A/V director, saying he needed a body to run the visuals side of things. I told him to cover my gas and waive my registration fee and I'd be there. He said "done." Next thing I know I'm learning Resolume Avenue and driving 6 hours North to the Hi Way Drive Inn in Carsonville Michigan to run our own furry music festival. We OWN a furry con. What the HECC. Three weeks ago I was chilling in the staff lounge in the Spirit Of Pittsburgh with some friends I knew in the A/V department of Anthrocon. Partway through I volunteered to help untangle a scheduling conflict for a friend. That then evolved into assisting the VR dancers side of things and hanging out with them at the waterfront until 5 AM on Monday morning. Then I was invited to the post-con BBQ. After that the official post-mortem meeting with the AC A/V staff and got to speak alongside them as a member. Then last weekend I'm staff of our own venue. This has been the best year of my life in regards to being a furry! Now then, back to working on getting a fulltime job and diving into the next financial mistake which is buying a van to take to these events going forward. The Ford Focus ST is nice, but I really could use a GMC Savannah, Ford Econoline, or a Dodge Trans Van.  Also, come on out to Noctfurnal next year! This year was year zero for us where we were trying to find our footing, and we've already begun the planning phase for next year, which involves our headliner acts, staffing, organized parking, bringing in vendors, and planning an equipment rental list! I wasn't joking on Monday's HLDE submission when I said they were here to keep the lights on. A draw-over commission from the man far more braver than I will ever be in this lifetime, Dugger. Guy works around machines and panels that literally have the label "No safe PPE exists for this equipment. Do not work while this unit is energized" slapped on them. I watched the ENTIRE "Alaska to Argentina" C90 Adventures series working on the line art alone, and ~10-15 episodes of Junkyard Digs doing the coloring and shading. There's a lot going on. Hahaha!
