FIRST DAY IN THE WHEEL OF TIME WRITERS ROOM:
Head writer: Welcome, hey guys, settle down, take a seat. We are looking at a hell of a task, here. Taking a beloved fantasy series and not only satisfying fans, but capturing new hearts. It will be challenging. It will take lots of cooperation, long nights, plenty of coffee, amirite? But I want each and every one of you to know we are going to make something great. Do you know why?
Gary: Because the book series is finished?
Head writer: BECAUSE THE BOOK SERIES IS FINISHED!
The head writer pulls a rope and a huge banner with SUCK IT HBO unfurls over his head. "We Built This City" starts playing. Everyone cheers and pops corks.

Rex's Wings Reference Sheets
from Take Flight, Brothers All, my Winged!Clones AU!
AU tag: #TakeFlightBrothersAll
~~
PLEASE DO NOT REPOST, EDIT, TRANSLATE, OR OTHERWISE USE MY ART. To share, please reblog! Reblogs and comments greatly appreciated!!!
❀ You can see the rest of my art including the rest of this AU through the Masterpost pinned to the top of my blog!
Notes on Rex beneath cut:
-Like Cody, Rex's wing armor paint also reflects his human body armor. He has jaig eyes to match his helmet on both front and back, as well as a line along the tops of the armor to match his arms. He painted his jetpack with stripes inspired by Ahsoka's montrals to show his respect and friendship with her.
-Rex's wings are a deep, royal blue base with gold markings scattered throughout. The clones call this gold Cody's gold (Glory's gold, among themselves), and every clone has a bit of gold on their wings to indicate that they're in Cody's flock. Rex has more gold than most, showing how close he is to Cody.
-When they were younger, Cody is the first who tells Rex that his wings look like a rare clear night sky, when you can see the stars and the galaxy beyond. They look like freedom, Cody tells him. Your wings hold the Galaxy.
-Rex's wing shape is typical of standard CT-class clone troopers. The length of back feathers isn't indicative of leadership status, but is genetic. As such, Rex's back feathers are shorter than that of CC-class clones like Cody.

How do you manage to draw so fast? Without losing quality at the same time? The fastest hand in the TCW fandom! They are fantastic and I love them all!
Ahskjsdhfksdf thank you!! 🧡
To answer the question, if I want to finish something quickly I 1) keep it simple (relatively small canvas, sketch not all that clean, half body or portrait, minimal background) 2) stick to what I know (no experimenting with shading or effects and whatnot). Also I just, like, draw a lot. I'll put a step-by-step of my process under the cut, if you're interested.
Your message made the really laugh and I love the 'fastest hand in the fandom' comment, even if it's probably far from true, so here's the fastest hand in the galaxy as a thank you. 🤠

Hi I just read your tags on that post about writing short fics and I was wondering if you can elaborate on what the OP does that makes them so good at unreliable narrator? I'm trying to get my head around how to approach approach fic in this way and am really interested to know what makes it click with the reader
I have to preface this by saying I am not a magic word person so this explanation might be a little rough. On the other hand, @nottonyharrison definitely has a magical way with words that I cannot say enough good things about so if you haven't had a chance to read all her fics yet, I highly recommend them! As readers, we already know a lot more than the characters do. We've all seen Star Wars and we know our tropes so we can fill in the gaps easily. The characters don't have that. They don't know they're living in a fanfic and they don't know what comes next in the bigger story. That alone creates some unreliability in your narrator, but Kim goes a little deeper than just knowing how much information her characters would be privy to at any particular point in the story. She gets in their heads and figures out how they would perceive that information based on their own biases or insecurities or life experiences. Just because they have been told some critical piece of information doesn't mean they interpreted it all accurately and it doesn't mean they have necessarily taken specific notice of all the key details. Again, readers have an advantage over the characters because we have a much wider view of the picture than they do. And even when the reader doesn't already know everything, Kim always gives us just enough information that we can fill in the whole story (or at least as much as she wants us to) while the character is still left guessing and making incorrect assumptions. And they make a lot of incorrect assumptions, but never anything that makes us want to bang our heads against the wall in frustration over how stupid they're being. Their assumptions always make sense given the circumstances and the character. She also writes in this unique combination of flashes and stream-of-consciousness that show us exactly what the character sees and how they react to it, even before they've really had a chance to process that information, so we can see those assumptions forming before the character has figured out where they think all the puzzle pieces fit.
#this put into words what I feel about nottonyharrison's writing#very accurate#you can tell how she understands the characters and puts aside the audience perspective#and focuses in on the internal story rather than the omniscient#and it's so good#I think that's what makes me feel more when I'm reading her stuff#because that perspective makes you relate more to the characters#and rather than yelling about how stupid they are#you get it#and you feel the frustration or the confusion or whatever from the character pov rather than the audience one#fic meta?#I guess?

“I’m Only Gonna Say This Once…” ~Kastle!~
I think I want to try to draw at least one thing for all my ships. That would be great. And challenging. But anyway, here is one of my favorite ships from Netflix!Marvel… Karen Page and Frank Castle! Can’t wait for Punisher Season 2 and also to see my babe Karen Page in DareDevil Season 3!
Black and White alt version with the white roses Punisher symbol below the cut:
