Jentry Week || Day 1: Fashion I drew Goth Paintedflame because I can

More doodles of her! Her name is Kii(at least for now because I really don’t know what name fits her).

More facts about Kii:

Pupils change in size & shape in response to light and emotion.

Doesn’t have a tail! However the ribbon that wraps around her clothes resembles a tail.

Develops a habit of picking Kit up when she has to have a private chat with him at some point.

Her hair is very thick and spiky. It is very difficult to style.

Jentry wears rubber gloves when she has to touch or hold onto Kii’s horns.

Jentry Chau OC! She’s a dokkaebi and I haven’t named her yet so we’ll just call her K. She used to be an axe about 200 years ago.

She/her, looks like she’s in her early 20s, talks like she’s in her 30s~60s. 5’5~6’0(the weather affects her height), 90~100kg. Unlabeled for now.

Very straightforward, serious, and will slice you with her words. She values efficiency and doesn’t have time for Ed’s antics. Ed keeps challenging her to prove that he’s the scarier and more powerful demon. He hasn’t won yet.

Strengths

Physically strong. She’s very heavy and it’s like she’s made of steel. Her body temperature easily changes as well. It’s cold to the touch most of the time.

Has a magical bat that produces gold coins and other good stuff if she swings it. It can fix things… and can also kill people. She rarely uses it.

Is good at playing games and winning. Almost any game. Wrestling, squid game, spinning tops, sports, trivia games… she won’t break a sweat while doing so.

Weaknesses

Her only weak spot is her left leg. No one is able to take her down in a fight or a game unless they attack her left leg.

Too honest. Doesn’t lie to others whether or not they try to deceive her. Surprisingly naïve and got exploited by others in the past.

Hates blood!!! Get that shit away from her. It’s kind of ironic that she used to be an axe.

Trivia

She’s nocturnal and mostly appears at night in weird places.

Don’t touch her horns, they’re basically two blades of steel. She sometimes sharpens them(Ed thinks it’s cool. He sometimes looks at his reflection on her horns)

Hates the stereotypical image of dokkaebis that look like huge scary red man with horns, a leopard print thong, and malicious intent!!! Hates it with a passion. That’s an oni not a dokkaebi!!!!!

Used to have a hat that helps her blend with humans but somebody burned it.

you do use reference images to draw your art, right?

I checked trough them and oh my

They fit their show art styles so good!

And I got curious if you pull up refs

If yes, how well do you think would you be able to draw any of them without references?

I always use references when drawing literally anything.

I have this thing where I try to mimic a show’s art style without deviating too far from it, but still adding some of my own style to it, if that makes any sense. So imagine I have a TON of images of the characters off to the side for me to reference.

As for whether or not I could draw something without a reference, I probably could well enough if I practiced drawing that character enough times for me to memorize every detail about them. Though I am gonna forget some details, let’s be honest.
