After Light dies-

Before dating-

-Went back to the shinigami realm but grew bored quickly. Watched the human realm with another shinigami and saw you. You seemed to have the same ideals as Light, based on your interactions with others alone, so he took an interest in you

-Set the death note under your doorstep, excited for some fun

-After becoming your Shikigami, Ryuk said you had potential to second the best death note owner (You killed off war leaders, criminals, and most importantly, women who had no self worth)

-Ryuk felt an unfamiliar warmth when talking to you in public. You didn’t respond for fear of looking crazy but he felt more listened to than with Light

While dating-

-No PDA because you’d either look schizophrenic or paranormal, but he’d touch your hair in a way so it’d look like the wind to get away with it

-When fighting/arguing with someone, he would hype you up but he’d treat talk then even if they couldn’t hear him

-Would tell you how fond he was of you each time you give him an apple
