I absolutely hate when I look in the comments on someone’s video or post and STRANGERS are trying their hardest to hurt them- it’s especially bad when the creator has done nothing to deserve this.

If you think it’s okay to comment something cruel, violent, insulting ect to someone just living… I’m so sorry your life is so vile you feel the need to spread that. But they don’t deserve it!!

I will be just minding my own business, looking at the internet, and I’ll see something about the Raven cycle. There is something so comforting about those books, every time I think of them I feel the need to reread them- but it’s a physical feeling, a pulling in my chest.

Maggie Stiefvater created characters and a world that felt so real; at the time I read them, more so than the world around me.

“Halt and the haltlings” adorable I love it

gathering shenanigans

it is customary for rangers to hide and try to ambush other rangers, especially older and more experienced ones. it rarely works.

one time, every single ranger managed to hide without being seen nor seeing anyone else. they all stood completely still for an entire hour before an apprentice let out a sneeze and all hell broke loose

there’s always one or two rangers assigned the unofficial “apprentice watching“ duty. they’re positioned at a distance, keeping a watchful gaze to learn what mischief the apprentices get away with. successfully getting away with stuff like eavesdropping, pranking, or stealing food under the nose of the entire corps earns the apprentice a lot of respect

before Gilan, Will and Halt arrive, everyone adds a spoonful of honey to their coffee, cursing under their breath at how delicious it is. It all started one day when someone walked in the commander’s tent and caught Crowley red-handed. Everybody confessed to adding the honey in secret. Chaos ensued. Naturally, once Halt and the haltlings arrive, it’s back to being “strange, tasteless sludge”.

recently, everyone has taken to wordlessly hum “Old Joe Smoke” while doing menial tasks. Halt is not amused, and eyes them all suspiciously.
