Gol’gothar Skullcleave- Wyrmrest Accord US
Gol’gothar Skullcleave, once known as the Gronn-slayer and Ogrebane, was a wolf-rider of the now defunct Wolf Tusk Clan — the clan merged with the Dragonmaw during the Second War. The small clan resided in the northern area of Blade’s Edge. The clan’s elite group of hunters, simply known as The Hunters, were partially responsible for the decline of the gronn in the area.
During the First War, Gol and The Hunters were enlisted into the Horde to provide calvary support to the grunts. Their fearsome worg steeds instilled a great amount of fear in the humans of Azeroth. Many times the tide of war did become an insurmountable wave of destruction and death as The Hunters cut their way to glory.
When the Dragonmaw acquired the use of dragons at the onset of the Second War, The Hunters traded in their worg mounts for the red drakes and merged with much larger clan. The devastation they wrought was unsurpassed until the black wyrm, Deathwing, attacked Stormwind. Yet, despite their mighty effort, the Horde lost the war.
With the Horde’s defeat at the closing of the Second War, The Hunters split from the Dragonmaw and fled to the Alterac mountains to evade capture and death at human hands. In the mountains, they lived alongside the Warsong clan. It is here that Gol met his mate, Targ the fire-maned huntress of the Warsong. Targ bore him one child of whom they named Brek’ra.
Targ was cut down during the battle for Mount Hyjal. This caused great distress for Gol; he found solace, in time, watching his fire-maned daughter grow and become as fine a warrior as her mother.
Advanced in age, Gol still seeks the excitement of adventure and the glory of battle wherever he may find it. He may be found wandering the streets of Orgrimmar or the lightly-treaded paths of Azeroth in search of the new.
