Shazidra of clan Stonefang - Short Backstory [Warlords of Draenor]
1. Early Life
In the rocky, harsh, mountains of the north, Clan Stonefang considered prematurely born children a bad omen, a sign of incoming hardships for the clan. The chieftain and mother, Makdura, was advised to leave the child to die, but the clan's Farseer, Akh’tra, claimed that the birth of the baby was heralded by a raging storm and the sighting of a black wolf, which were signs of a great shaman.
Under Farseer Akh'tra's guidance, Shazidra would grow up showing great promise as a shaman, succeeding in all the dangerous trials and rites of passage she had to undertake over the years to secure her place in the clan. While her mother Makdura loved her, Shazidra was closer to Akh'tra than to her own parents. The young girl and the old woman would meditate with the elements for days and even weeks at a time, away from the rest of the clan.
2. War with the Blackrock Clan
Bordering the territories of the expansionist Blackrock clan to the west and the Thunderlords to the east, the small clan Stonefang was forced to compromise with it's neighbors over territory over the years. While their relationships remained friendly, Chief Makdura was forced to maintain the peace by sending some of her warriors as tribute to the other clans to serve in their cause. While this move was seen as foolish, given that they were arming the enemy while disarming themselves, Makdura knew that even with all their warriors, they would never be able to win an all-out fight against Blackrock and hoped that by showing good will to those clans they will be left
However with this shaky alliance being barely held together over two decades, this peace could no longer be maintained as Blackrock would attack Stonefang territories for precious metals for their weapons and armor. The Stonefangs preferred to live in with the land, taking only half of what their home had to offer, and leaving the other half to nature. With this mindset and values they shared with the Frostwolves and the Whiteclaws, they refused to follow merge with clan Blackrock.
Knowing that a war is inevitable and that her prematurely born daughter, who was smaller and weaker than the other orcs, would certainly not survive the conflict, Makdura made the choice to give Shazidra over to clan Thunderlord as tribute. She hoped that they would accept her, not knowing of how deep their corruption ran.
(The rest of the story and art are below the cut!)
Shazidra refused to simply be given to a clan that already took so much from hers over the years and she thought about running away in the mountains to seeking help from the Frostwolf Clan. She was confident she would survive the journey to their distant neighbors as she trusted the elements to be on her side.
However, she would not get the chance as clan Blackrock would attack without warning, killing the majority of her clan that fought back, including her mother, chief Makdura, as well as Farseer Akh'tra.
3. Imprisonment by the Blackrock Clan
While the Blackrock had no reason to spare her, a male orc she knew by the name Kortag would vouch for her, convincing the others that her shaman powers would be useful to the Blackrock forges and that she would soon bend her knee and serve the clan. Kortag was raised together with Shazidra and given as tribute to the Blackrock clan in his youth. He and Shazidra spent their early teen years training and learning together, speaking of how they would be each other mates once they came of age.
Feeling loyalty to his former friend, Kortag took her as his own prisoner, hoping that in few days or even weeks, she would see reason and see that their weak clan had to fall and yet she can live on and achieve glory under Blackhand's command.
Shazidra refused. Having witnessed the death of her family, her friends, the genocide of her clan, she would rather die than serve Blackhand and this new Horde. Stubborn and prideful, Kortag did not relent and he decided he will do whatever it takes to break her will. Instead of the comfort he first offered her in his own quarters, he now chained her in a cold iron prison cell, away from the elements that gave her power.
Days turned to weeks, weeks to months. And months to years. It was no longer about turning her to their side, it was now about showing her the weakness their former clan carried, about winning this standstill between them. But Shazidra was like a stone, she refused to budge and be broken even by the merciless industrial machinery that the Blackrock Clan had recently adopted.
4. Escape and meeting Khadgar
As luck would have it, one day something stirred the Blackrock orcs, something foreign set foot on their home planet of Draenor. While she was cut off from the elements and from her power, the droplets of water, the earth under the steel of her cell, the wind and draft that crept between the metal plating of the walls, whispered to her that her time to escape was now.
In one last ditch effort, Kortag came to her, telling her that the Horde will claim a new world beyond the seas and the sky, and that she can leave this cell as a conqueror or as fodder for their Dark Portal. Not knowing what this meant, Shazidra finally relented. Almost a decade after her capture, chained up as a young woman and now released with wrinkles under her eyes, she convinced Kortag that she finally sees his side.
As he took her out, Shazidra sought to find a way to escape. The moment his guard was down, she took her chance and ran as far as she could. However, emaciated and weak from the constant imprisonment, she couldn't get far. Kortag caught her and this time, would grant her no mercy. She pleaded with him, saying that in that new world it wouldn't matter what clan they are from and that she will disappear in the mountains and no one will ever find her.
However, Kortag refused to lose. He had changed too much in his service of Blackhand, so it would dishonor him to let her go. As he grabbed her, Shazidra pounced and bit him on the neck, almost ripping his flesh before he let her go.
Enraged, he reached out to struck her down, but the storm that gave her life, now took his. Lightning struck his raised axe, burning through him and parting the rock they stood on.
Shazidra now knew that the elements had not forsaken her. In fact, even in her weak state, she felt more powerful and alive than ever. If only she could save her friend, make him see reason. Save the one thing left from her family. Being the only Stonefang left, she had no direction, no home to return to, no clan.
In the distance however, she saw strange beings, tall creatures with long ears, smaller figures with no tusks and some bearing strange pink skin. Seeing that they made quick work of the Blackrock, Shazi approached them. On the face of what she assumed is the one leading them, she saw no fear when her malnourished and bloodied form came close. Only what she believed is to be worry. Perhaps even sympathy.
She felt so weak, so ashamed to cling to this creature for help, but they defeated the Blackrock. They laid waste to this new Iron Horde in their wake. Perhaps not all was lost. Suddenly a new emotion stirred in Shazidra - the thirst for vengeance. She would go with these strangers and do whatever it takes to get back at those who destroyed her home.
In time, she would learn the name of their leaders - an orc shaman named Thrall who bore strange green skin and a human - Archmage Khadgar. The man who saved her and pulled her out of the ruins.
Even though she felt no obligation, she still followed him, using his knowledge of this Horde and providing him her own knowledge of the land.
As she gained her strength, the friendship between her and this Archmage grew, and the two became close through all the hardships that fighting the Iron Horde and chasing after Gul'dan brought.
At the end of it all, Shazidra proved that she was a shaman to be feared and through their joined effort and the help of her slain ancestors and the elements, they were victorious in saving her home.
When the handsome stranger, the Archmage Khadgar, decided he must return to his home, to another timeline, Shazidra refused to say goodbye. She insisted that her work is not done as long as Gul'dan draws breath and that with no clan and no home to return to, she had nothing to lose. For her honor and for her clan's honor, she had to see this done.
Khadgar could not refuse her and the two of them returned to the his timeline and to the strange world of Azeroth. The threat of the Legion that Gul'dan brought over from Draenor was greater than anything she could imagine, however she had no fear. With her new "clan", made of all the people she met on this journey and with her new friend Khadgar by her side, she knew they will get through this - together.

A Nice Hot Bath <<previous next>>
Durotan x reader NSFW
“Where have they gone?!”
You could hear your fathers voice carrying through the halls of the castle’s corridor. His metal armor crunched heavily in anger against the stone ground as he stormed toward the doors to your chamber.
“What have you done? And don’t lie to me! The treasures that were once laced in that beast’s hair… where are they?!”
He glared at you, gripping a piece of your top and shoving you out of the way as he begins to sort through the chest at the foot of the bed. Damn the dungeon keep and his big mouth.
“He was in pain. I only offered to help that orc is all…”
He interrupts you when he finds the rings and trinkets collected in a small pouch you had stored away with intent on returning them to their rightful owner.
“That is no ordinary orc.”
He stated simply and bluntly.
“That orc is Durotan. Chieftain of the Frostwolf clan. And I have him and all his possessions in my grasp. No doubt I could use this orc as collateral.”
You raise to your feet at his statement.
“Collateral? Collateral for what father?”
“For peace you fool! Between humans and orcs. I’ve lost too many men. We kill their leader, the war will end.”
You scurry over to him, stopping him from turning through your chambers doors.
“You kill him there will only be more fighting! I can level with him father, please. I’ve bonded with him before. Let him see that humans are no threat. Please. Treat him as an equal and come to a compromise.”
Your fathers brows furrowed at the thought. His angered eyes landed on you as he softly shook his head.
“You are just like your mother. I can’t lose you as well.”
“You won’t lose me father. Let us try. And if this idea doesn’t pan out, your idea will. Please. Let me help aid this creature back to health so he’s presentable enough to come before our king. We can have peace in so many different ways father.”
The captain stood there looking off into the distance as he pondered over your plan.
“I’ll allow it. But under strict supervision. I’ll have my personal guards escort you should this beast decide he’s more orc than humane.”
He hands you your pouch full of the orcs trinkets and also a small key. You looked at it puzzled as your father began to make his way out of your chamber.
“It’s for his shackles. Go to him. I wish you luck.”
And with that he disappeared down the long hall oh you made sure of it before you scraped up what things you could and once again made your way to the dungeon with escorts in tow.
“Open the gate by order of the captain!”
One of the guards barked to the dungeon keep who fumbled with the keys you had so carefully placed back around his belt the day prior. Durotan was sitting in his cell, unsure what all the commotion was about when the gate to his prison opened. You slowly walked up to him, kneeling down as you once had before.
“I told you I’d be back. I also made good on my promise to get you out of here.”
You held the key up for him to see as the corners of his mouth curled up into a slight grin.
“On one condition… my father wants you to meet with our king. You’ll have to promise to behave yourself. No harm shall come to any humans. Do I make myself clear?”
Your eyes met his as he began to think and he slowly rose to his feet. The guards lifted their spears in anticipation but the orc just looked on and nodded his head in agreement.
“That’s settled then. I’ll unchain you.”
You whipped around the massive creature, even more impressive now that he was standing upright, and unlocked the confines around his wrists and his ankles.
“There now. That’s much better I…”
Your breath caught short as you inhaled the stench. Although the musk of it had its appeal, it was quite jarring to say the least.
“I think first thing is first. How about we get you a nice hot bath hm?”
Durotan glanced at the two guards, then over to you as the look of confusion exuded from his face. Surely he had never seen any humans before grant him such gratitude.
“Yes. A bath would be nice.”
His husky voice was low and soft as you and the twin guards escorted him up the long staircase to the castles main corridor. Durotan remained silent the entire trip, avoiding eye contact with passersby’s who gasped or stared. He didn’t like being made to be a spectacle of, so you quickened the pace to the secluded bathing chamber. Once there anyone who was in the process of their daily cleaning were ordered to cease and quickly evacuate to give the orc some privacy.
“Everyone except the guards have been made to leave. I hope you understand.”
You begin to turn heel in anticipation of retrieving some furs for him to dry and wrap up in when he reaches out and grabs you to stop you. The guards raise their spears again quickly.
“No! No. Let him speak.”
You hush the guards and turn your attention back to Durotan.
“Stay… please.”
Your jaw dropped softly, cheeks rushing with blood turned a pink hue and the guards began to chuckle beneath their armor. The orc paid them no mind but kept his eyes on you as he de-robed himself from his loin cloth. Your eyes stared into his, not being able to help take in his massive naked form. Your gaze began to slowly travel. He had a broad chest with what looked to be soft black hair scattered around a set of nipples. A trail of thick luscious hair peaked just beneath his belly button and traveled down to a kept nest of soft pubic hair.
You swallow hard as your eyes feast upon the massive cock hanging beneath the soft furs, swelling by the second even in the halls cooler temperatures. You could see the head of his rod begin to peer out of its protective sheath and a clear dribble of precum slowly dripped from its bulbous tip. His testicles were twin sets of perfectly round spheres sitting up tight against his beautiful body. He looked like a god. You lap your lips at the sight of it, realizing your gaze had lingered too long. Your eyes flickered up to his only to see a wicked smile spread across his handsome face.
“Would you join me?”
He chuckled deeply sending a burning feeling to your gut as he turned and dipped one leg into the bath. Then the other. And he stood for a moment as if you hadn’t gotten enough scenery before he finally sunk himself down into the warm water and leaned back with a satisfied groan. He then leaned all the way back into the tub, submerging his entire body including his head to the point where the tub overflowed. You stood there for a moment, mind puzzled and groin aching from just the mere sight of this orcs genitals and the enticing invitation to join him in his bath just over-took you.
You kick off your shoes just as you begin to hear the guards whispering to each other. No matter. You were here to sooth him and if he wanted you to bathe with him, then so be it. You unbuckle your bottoms, slipping them off slowly so he could watch your every move. Finally you unbutton your top exposing your entire naked body to the massive orc before you took one step forward. And then another. Soon you found yourself dipping your body down into the waters warmth a mere foot away from this creature. No clothing. No weapons. Nothing but your two bodies wet and naked. Durotan had not taken his eyes off you the entire process, feasting on every curve of your shape and every dimple of your body… they were his to take in and he wasn’t shy about doing so.
“Will you bathe me?”
He spoke up after what seemed like forever as you waited through the water, inching closer to him.
“Of course. You know I’ve already done this once before.”
The both of you chuckle, you knowing the first time was no where near like this instance but nevertheless you reach for the soap and cloth. You position yourself between his legs, his thick cock not able to avoid touching your tummy felt so secure between the two of you, you didn’t question it. You began to soap his chest, fingers gliding through the bubbles and baby fine hair curled and massaged his slick wet skin. You then took the cloth, letting it wring out along his sudsy chest before wiping him clean from the froth.
“I saw you. You were staring. That means you’re curious.”
He grumbled as his eyes fluttered shut to your touch upon his shoulders.
“Curious? About what?”
You play coy but he’s not having the beat around the bush antics.
“About this.”
His lifts his hips up forcing you to sit up to catch your balance and right beneath the apex of your sex laid his thick cock glossed with bubbles from the soap.
“I.. I’m not… I mean I’ve never seen one that size before…”
“You want to touch it. I can see it in your eyes. Touch me.”
You begin to breathe hard as your neck snaps over to the guards who have taken their post at the door for the night but are still watching over you. Your gaze snaps back to Durotan as a gasp leaves your throat to the firm silky feel of his cock beneath your fingertips. His eyes close to your touch, cock stiffening to a stand and pressing up into your palm for attention. You glide your palm up and down his shaft as the orc lets out a low pleasing groan. Your fingers try to wrap around his girth, squeezing firmly as you pumped him. Each stroke only making him swell more and harden until all the loose skin of his cock was tight with excitement. He begins to pant in rhythm with your strokes, each one pulling a buck from his hips granting you further access to his climax.
“More. More kitten, more.”
Up to this point he had no idea what your name was but in the heat of things you didn’t dare interrupt. And the nickname kitten sent a strong ache to your groin. You began to twist your wrists and roll your thumbs beneath the lip of his spongy head, your fingers coating themselves with his precum way more slick than any of the soap or water. You could feel his body tensing, his knuckles were curling around the edge of the tub as he begged you for one last favor.
“Taste me… please.”
He whimpers between clenched teeth as you dip your head down, tongue snaking between your lips, to lap up the thick precum from its valley. It was salty and warm yet sweet to your taste. You wanted more. You spread your pout over his massive head and took his aching cock into your hot wanting mouth. Durotans legs stretched to a comfortable spread as his hips began to buck up into you. His hands no longer on the tub now gripped your hair, holding you carefully in place as he glided his cock in and out if your hollowed out throat. You could feel his cock stiffening further, his breathing became grunting and his grip on your head began to tighten. With one final thrust, he filled you, forcing your throat open around his cock as he pumped you full of his hot seed several times.
“Umm yes. Very good kitten. Just like that.”
He cooed to you in between deep breaths. His hands had released their grip from you and were now stroking you as you gently sucked the last drop of semen from his softening rod.
“Well… I am here to sooth you. I’m glad you… showed me how to.”
You whisper with cum still dribbling down your chin that he wiped off for you. He pulled your body flush with his as he laid back and sighed deeply.
“It’s my turn to bathe you.”

What clan did you join during the orc heritage?
Is it lame that I went with Frostwolves? I feel like that's kind of the vanilla one. I actually called my brother who's not currently playing to confer with him first, because his character is my character's brother, too, so I figured he should have a say. But I always kinda thought Gormorash was one of them. Even tho I'm not sure how much sense that makes, if most or all of them didn't go to Azeroth during the wars, but... yeah. I know a lot of people get a lot of things out of playing orcs, but I was so taken by the new lore in Warcraft III and beyond, the idea that the orcs were peaceful and noble creatures tricked into becoming monsters and now trying to atone for it. Reading Lord of the Clans and stuff. By the time WoW came out, I liked the idea of my guy being one of the conscientious objectors. And since then, I couldn't begin to count the hours the old boy has spent in Alterac Valley in the last 19 years, there's a lot of solidarity there. So yeah... Frostwolf. Even if the banner doesn't really go with my current fit.

Hmm I've had a vague idea of a new OC for a while and I think I'm finally gonna flesh her out a little more. Her name is E'kahu Gravebringer and she's my Mag'har shadow priest
She was raised in the Frostwolf clan despite being born in Laughing Skull clan. She was abandoned as a child and Frostwolf warriors found her during conflict between the two clans
She was largely considered as an outcast among the Frostwolves because none of them trusted Laughing Skull orcs
So when the void whispered to her and offered her great power, she was intrigued
Idk how the fucking Mag'har alternate timeline stuff works but she eventually comes to Azeroth and is a pretty capable combatant with her void powers. However she's a little insane from all the void whispering all the time.
She also has strange tattoos of eyes and various rune-like symbols covering her back. More cryptic void shit that no one understands but her

Another Whiteclaw Clan Headcanon:
When we originally arrive at the frostwolfs in WoD, the Whiteclaw clan has been cut down to maybe 50 or so, and they have joined the Frostwolf Clan. Over the years the remaining Whiteclaws formed a rank in the Frostwolfs where they would continue their traditions, and were specialized warriors in their traditional ways of combat. Their traditional combat technique (not all fought this way, but it was a sacred role) were warriors and hunters who would call on the spirits of their ancestors and the spirits of past wolfs and fight with them.
By the time we come back, The WhiteClaws (the name of the unit) has opened to all, but most of them can trace their ancestors to the original Whiteclaws.
During WoD Drozaka, who was only able to learn of her clan through her mother, trains with them in her spare time. She learns of all of the traditions, and in fact writes them down for later generations, and when her daughter is born, she preforms the Whiteclaw naming ritual for her.
#world of warcraft#oc: drozaka emberforge#orcish clans#Whiteclaw clan#i wanna expand on the naming ritual on another post

Myea I was being sort of thorough in Frostfire ridge because I wanted the reputation rewards from the Frostwolf clan (cute pubby minion) and now my orc gal is level 40 and I've only barely entered the second zone. Oops
Hey wow nerds. I'm on my first character, an orc warrior, playing through warlords of draenor rn. I'm not really interested in the current expansion so I intend to check out some of the other older expansions first. Would y'all recommend I roll a new character for every expansion, or stick with my orc gal through the whole game? Pros and cons?
