yes Kayo is similar in terms of belief to Stain (although she is acting more around her family so that's different) but I really like her and I think you should keep writing her and make her blog!

i’d like some opinions on my new bnha oc bc i know there’s a similar character after i read some more of the manga yesterday but i’m trying to put my own twist on her backstory and personality so some feedback would be helpful

kayo shiroyama

cis female in her early twenties

works as a mercenary under her alias ‘hero breaker’

is often paid my villains to take out and kill pro heroes

quirk: hijack - the ability to steal multiple quirks via lasting physical contact (a kiss seems to have become her signature move, making most heroes unsuspecting of her stealing their quirk) and switch between them during battle, however is limited to using them once every hour before the quirk returns to its owner. a quirk she gained from her mother. she received a fraction of her father’s quirk which is super strength. it mainly enables her to endure physical attacks more, but it’s not as strong as her father’s.

she does not belong to any league but her main source of income is usually from villains. she does not take money to kill children (even if they’re training to be heroes - they still have time) or quirkless people.

when she was a child, her father was a pro hero but acted abusively at home and her mother left, abandoning kayo. kayo learned her father was involved in the career in order to gain money and fame. he was the first person that stained the idea of a hero for her.

she has a brother, hayato, currently twelve years old and quirkless. when kayo was eighteen and hayato was nine, kayo and their father got into a heated argument. during it, hayato accidentally got involved and was struck instead. kayo was more able to endure this but hayato was quirkless, leaving him knocked unconscious and severely injured. that pushed kayo enough to leave her home, guilty for not doing so earlier and getting her little brother out.

after being taken to the hospital, it was discovered hayato was knocked into a coma from the severe injury.

kayo grew into becoming what she is now in order to keep her and her brother above water, keep his care stable and also to be able to afford a new home for them after running away. however, her hate for faux heroes certainly keeps her motivated. she will not allow those who use their quirk to gain money and power out of greed and then be called ‘heroes.’ she will not stand for it.

Since I don’t want people to ever have the idea that I’m trying to force anything or that they are forcing anything by doing any of the following:

Letting your muse fall in over with another muse

Sending crack flirty asks (I love doing this because the answers I get usually make me laugh so hard and it’s so funny. 99,9% of the time I am not expecting us to grow a ship out of that)

Saying to your rp partner that you ship the thing (as long as you do not force them to ship it too, but are simply interested to know if the characters could work out that way and would like to discuss it)

Your muse finding another muse attractive / saying flirty things to them in a thread
