idk who the frick thought the term impure regression was nice but it's incorrect. that sounds so dumb. oooh you're sad or experiencing smth less than positive while regressing or its triggering your regression?? "oo that's impure cos everyone knows regression is only happy silly fun colors good time and not at all a very common COPING MECHANISM and therapeutic tool" /s (it is not and never has been only joy and good and silly, and it has always been a coping mechanism and it isn't even voluntary for some people!!!)
Regression exists on a spectrum, you can experience it in a variety of ways, there is no Pure way to regress. that's ridiculous and puts the unnecessary connotation of Good and Bad on people who are just trying to cope or get out of their head or don't even mean to regress at all.
NONE of my regression is impure regardless of the reason I'm regressing. when I'm sad and crying and hugging a stuffed animal or can't even hug a stuffie because I'm so upset or when I feel scared and small and need to hide a bit, I'm still regressed and there's nothing impure or less or wrong about it.
do not try to make certain regressions seem better than others, do not make regressors feel worse for their bad mood than they already do. just stoooopppp.

Activity Ideas for Littles With / Without a Cg/ Little Friends

ᯓᡣ𐭩 Playing dress up, you can do this via a roblox game, finding things in your closet, or picrew!
⭑.ᐟ Playing pretend, have your stuffies met your cg/ friend's stuffies? Video calls and playing with stuffies is so fun, put on stuffie talent shows, concerts, or have your stuffies play "house", "school", or "doctor" together!
⋆𐙚. ݁ Color together, do a worksheet with a friend & compare interests, parallel play! (Check my page for some worksheets!)
୭ ˚. Pinterest, (you can make this into sort of an online age-re journal, I have one!) Age-re imagery + sorting = so fun!
༘⋆ Make a little playlist, this is so fun & will help you feel more immersed in your regression! A few songs from mine are "My Love Mine All Mine" by Mitski, "Love" by Nancy Adams, & "J's lullaby" by Delaney Bailey!
ᯓ★ Build a pillow fort, hang a blanket off the side of a bookshelf, chair, the end of your bed, it doesn't matter! It's always nice to have a secluded small safe space<3
˚꩜˙⋆ Make a little friendly snack! This could be cereal, fruit & veggies, oatmeal, or warm up some milk!
✶⋆. Bubble baths or little self care! Be silly, brush your teeth with a kids toothbrush/ toothpaste, use bubbles in your bath, do a unicorn face mask! Make self care fun, you can take care of yourself!
✎ᝰ Make / find yourself a sticker chart! (I also make these if you want to request one lmk). Even if you don't have a caregiver it is productive to find good value in your behavior for yourself too! Give yourself that sticker for doing a chore/ hw/ whatever, you deserve it!

checklists for littles! :3
sometimes self care is hard for littles, or maybe they just do better with a to-do list like i do! i thought i'd post my personal checklists, maybe it'll help someone out :3c
Morning
▢ Brush teeth
▢ Put clothes on
▢ Brush/style hair
▢ Eat breakfast
▢ Take any vitamins or medications
▢ Pack backpack (if you go to school like i do!)
▢ Make the bed
Afternoon/Evening
▢ Eat lunch
▢ Do homework (if you have some)
▢ Read for a little bit (i always try to read at least a chapter or two, i have adhd so its hard for me to read for periods of time)
▢ Have some fun time! (color a picture, listen to music, whatever you want to do!)
▢ Do any chores
▢ Spend some time outside
▢ Eat some snacks (and have a cool little drink with it!)
Night
▢ Pick up toys/clean up room
▢ Brush teeth
▢ Get into jammies
▢ Put on lotion
▢ Write about day (for older littles!)
▢ Take melatonin/vitamins/medications
▢ Call/text cg
▢ Paci time
everyone's routines are going to look a little different but here are some basic ideas if you're trying to build one or looking to improve yours. hope this helps!

What helps me as an age regressor who has nightmares:
I set my stuffies up all around me, so they can guard me while I sleep (stuffies are the best protectors)
I use multiple nightlights, so there's no dark corners
I'm a cold sleeper so I sleep with multiple blankets, and when I'm completely covered up no one can get me
If you're a hot sleeper, I wake up in cold sweat sometimes, I'll sleep with just my feet covered, and it still makes me feel safer
I recommend bed tents, you can put fairy lights inside and be completely protected without having to use blankets
I make a nest to sleep in
Sometimes when the nightmares are really bad I'll sep up alarms during the night, works best if you're a light sleeper (which I am not)
Regressing before bed helps me, but often it's hard when I'm already scared to go to sleep
Watch your favorite show, or little show to help you regress and fall asleep (I leave on cartoons sometimes all night)
Pick a new stuffie every night to sleep with, or have a dedicated stuffie you sleep with every night, and imagine them as your protector in your dreams, at the very least it helps me fall asleep not scared
I use a comfort item, this could also be a stuffie, but I use a paci
For sometimes padded regressors, make sure you go potty before bed, don't learn the hard way like I did
Your favorite, non-caffeinated drink, warm milk, or in my case I drink chocolate milk (If I was a caregiver I would say no sugary drinks either, but I am an regressor with no caregiver so I will drink apple juice before bed if I want to lol)
