Taylor’s ability to laugh + make jokes about everything that happened in 2016 as well as draw valuable life lessons from it why I love this woman so much. She’s so incredibly self-aware and is always looking for a way to turn a bad situation into a better one, by focusing on the positive outcomes and taking control of the situation (hi Karyn). So she gets to a point when she and 60,000 others can look a giant inflatable snake and not necessarily be reminded of the difficulty of the times when she was misunderstood by the entire world, but instead remember the importance and the value of accepting that we can’t control if bad things happen to us, but we can control how we react.

So thank you, Taylor, for teaching us that we can build castles and stadium tours out of all the bricks they throw at us.
