The Icarus Experiment by @raennem

This fic is a true beauty. Not only is the writing magnificent, but it also tells a deep story. I can hardly put this fic down when I’m reading and it lingers in my mind for day’s after. This is fic is a Maximum Ride AU, told through the POV of Grantaire. This fic has completly captured my heart. 

Jump In by anditwasallpink 

This fic is a great Modern!AU. Enjolras and Grantaire are in a new relationship and stuff happens. It’s such a great read! 

a brace of hours and wild things, a wreath of fangs beneath by Sovin 

For fans of the 80s Labyrinth this fic is a must and even if you aren’t familiar with the film this fic is still a great read! This fic perfectly captures Enjolras and Grantaire’s relationship but uses a describe a unique fantasy setting. Lot’s of love for this fic! 

Five Nights Someone Delivers Grantiare’s Food to Enjolras, and One Night Enjolras Delivers Himself to Grantaire by @consultingreaders  

A wonderful breakup fic! I’m kinda cautious of breakup fics, but this one is great. It’s funny and warm-hearted, plus the writing is amazing. 

Turn and Say by paranomasia

This was one of the first Enjoltaire fics I ever read and man is it great. It’s hilarious and written so well. Enjolras is portrayed perfectly and it’s a real trip. Love this to the stars and back.   

I’m in it for You by raeldaza

Grantaire has cancer and Enjolras drives him home from chemo. It’s beautiful and sad but has an excellent ending. I really love this one. (: 

World Ain’t Ready by idiopathicsmile 

I feel like this one is kinda of a no-brainer. If you haven’t read this yet then stop everything and read this. It’s got fake-dating, high school, justice, humor, friendship, and all that good shit.  

The Ghost of You by @luchia13

Grantaire moves into an apartment and haunted by Enjolras, an angry ghost. This is a unique twist on the ‘a ghost is haunting me’ trope. An original through and through.

Mer!Grantaire, human Enjolras, what more should I say? This is such a great mer fic! Lots of love for this! 

All I Want by Princessfbi 

Another mer fic, featuring Mer!Enjolras and human Grantaire. This was one of my first enjoltaire fics, it’s so well written and I love the way each character is written.  

The Lonely Sea and Sky by @samyazaz

Selkie!AU!! This fic is great! With a bit of mystery, crime, and romance your set for an hour or two! I honestly love this one, the side ships are worth the world.  

You Are the Moon by @samyazaz  

An excellent sci-fi AU with a healthy bit of relationship angst. The plot is original and the writing is beautiful.  

Always is to Joy Inclined by @kjack89  

Grantaire learns that he’s going blind and Enjolras does his best. This is such a bittersweet fic with a perfect portrayal of Grantaire and Enjolras’ relationship.

THIS FIC! Grantaire, Eponine, and Marius are prostitutes and it’s a real trip. It’s funny but very real. An excellent example of a modern les mis fic. I also feel like you get feel for all the characters. One of my all-time favorites! 

How the Future’s Done by barricadeur 

Grantaire needs a favor, Enjolras is here to help. There’s kittens, fluff, and politics! What more can you want? But really, if you’re looking for a simple, sweet fic this one is for you.

-I’m a huge sucker for mermaid AU’s but this one is an absolute favorite. Pretty much everyone's mer, but Keith is galran an enemy to lance’s people and his own. This fic is so sweet and pure. 

Nothing’s Fair in Love and War (incomplete) @sakumiyukime

-another mer fic, but with mer!Lance and human Keith. I love Keith and Lance’s relationship in this fic, it’s so nice. The plot of this fic is interesting as well, the author takes her time uploading chapters, but it’s all worth it. 

The Road is Long (series) (incomplete) @rasenna  

-Lance is taken in slavery, but not as the blue paladin. After a revolt on his master’s planet, he takes the kids and flees. The klance isn’t super strong...but it’s a really good fic. 

Of Moth and Men (incomplete) @mothdads-writing

- A bookstore AU were Keith thinks he’s Mothman. This fic is hilarious. It hasn't been updated in awhile, but it’s a real trip.

-five times Keith kept his resting bitch face and one time he couldn’t. I love fic’s with pining Keith and this one is definitely my favorite. It’s a great read!

-honestly, I love all of this author’s Voltron fic’s. Everything is written so well and it’s just amazing. definitely, check out her works! 

Shades Of Blue (incomplete) @vaziah

-Lance is a cryptid and Keith is a cryptid hunter. um, this fic hasn’t been updated in forever, but it’s original and different. 

Blide Affection (complete) @jilliancares

-After a battle Lance becomes blind. Keith helps him train with his new handicap. A great, pure fic. I love the relation that Keith and Lance have. 

Freckles, Flaws, and First Steps (complete) @potato-fan-girl

-Lance is self-conscious about his freckles and Keith is a sweetheart. I simply adore this fic, it’s well written and takes such a nice approach to Lance being self-conscious. 

To Hell and Back (complete)  @wrenowitch

-Keith and Pidge are trying to Canada during a zombie apocalypse. They meet up with Hunk and Lance, things happen. I feel like zombie AU’s are hit or miss and this is definitely a hit. A hit to my heart. If you’re looking for a long, angsty, romantic, action-packed fic read this.

-okay so mer!Lance and bff Hunk. oh and cryptid hunter Keith. Honestly, this fic is so funny, but also just really good. The plot is starting to heat up and I can not wait for the next chapter. 

King and Reaper (complete) @pastel-clark

-After the destruction of Earth, Lance leaves the team with blue and becomes even more badass. This fic was such a dream, love it! 

Written on your Skin (complete) @trashness

 -The classic soulmate AU with badboy!Keith, some wholesome fluff, and a good laugh. I’m not a huge fan of soulmate AU’s but this one definitely sold me. 

Steal My Heart Away (incomplete)  @BlairRabbit

-After Keith and Lance run into a sketchy fortune teller Lance loses something pretty important (cough title cough) and Keith being the sweetheart that he his must go through some shit to return it. Great story, excellent writing. 12/10

Ride or Die (series) (incomplete) @katranga

-After Lance is captured by the Galra he meets a cute, almost human-looking Galra. Of course, they bond. This fic is really great and the klance relationship is 10/10. Lot’s of love for this fic!

Wannabe (complete) @mileean

-so um this fic??!!?? I’ll give you a brief summary: Lance in a crop top. (But seriously read this, it’s great)

White (incomplete) @mermaidlance

-Lance becomes the paladin of the white lion (!!!) after he is captured and presumed dead/still missing from the team. Along the way of white paladin adventures Lace becomes a dad, a hero, and a collaborator with the Blade. Go show this fic some love, ok? 

 Night Call (incomplete) @MellowsNTea 

-Keith and Lance share some late night phone calls while Keith is away with the Blade. The drama in this fic is great. It’s the perfect, classic klance fic. 

Lance the Soul Seer (incomplete) @Cali_Cat_Girl

-Lance can see ghost and it’s pretty crazy. It hasn’t been updated in a bit, but you never know. (:

Home (incomplete) @kobrakola

-Lance is not only Altean, but a prince as well. This is a rad fic, I mean the drama 10/10 and the klance is real subtle (for now). Also, Lance and Allura have a great relationship. 

A Commutual Contract (incomplete) @skaylanphear

-After Lance almost dies (dies) Keith is pretty traumatized. This hasn’t been updated in awhile, but it’s really good.
